- WorldScreen News (US)"Pomodoro Stories Sets Focus on Scripted Formats.LOS ANGELES: Brendan Fitzgerald, a former Sony Pictures Television executive who specialized in localized iterations of that studio's series abroad, tells World Screen Newsflash that he is setting up a distribution company called Pomodoro Stories, focusing on formats of scripted shows."Good writers recognize and appreciate others' storytelling skills if they are then given the freedom to bend a concept to local realities. They even allow the company to show re-runs at midday and finally reinforce that slate. "It has much lower associated costs than a TV series," Franciso Henríquez, programming director at Mega TV, said. "It can also be shown at more than one TV slot, and from that point of view it is a great advantage," he added."April 12, 2012
