It’s come to my attention as of late that I tend to write mostly negative reviews. Despite the general consensus, I don’t find much in writing bad things about comics. I’d prefer to read good books over bad ones any day. It’s just that I read more things from DC Comics than other publishing companies and that’s come back to bit me. Usually there’s at least one book in the New 52 that I think keeps the entire line not deserving of complete condemnation, but now that Earth 2 has been turned into drek, that’s changed. Pretty much nothing from DC interests me anymore, save for Jeff Parker’s run on Aquaman for being one of the few books that has a sense of fun to it. But right now, I want to take a break from bad mouthing comics. I honestly want to like titles.

George Lucas said "I do" to Mellody Hobson on Saturday at his Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, Calif. The new Mrs. George Lucas obviously made for a beautiful bride, but there's a lot more to her than just being the Star Wars creator's wife. Here are five things you need to know about Mellody Hobson. 1. She's Smart, Successful and Financially Savvy: Hobson has been the president of Ariel Investments, a Chicago-based investment management firm, since 2000. 2. Here's an exclusive photo of newlyweds George Lucas and Mellody Hobson!
The visionary "Star Wars" filmmaker wed the Ariel Investments president before an intimate gathering at Skywalker Ranch, in Marin County, California, at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 22.
The ceremony was officiated by journalist Bill Moyers, who famously interviewed the writer Joseph Campbell at Skywalker Ranch for a landmark documentary series in 1988, and Lucas' daughters, Katie and Amanda, served as bridesmaids. According to Arianna Huffington, who was in attendance, Moyers spoke so movingly that several married couples said afterward that they felt they'd renewed their own vows.
"It only takes one person to have met the love of your life," Moyers, who was a Baptist minister before launching his illustrious career in journalism, told the bride and groom. Moyers went on to quote the 13th-century Persian poet Rumi: "When I heard my first love story, I was thinking of you.

We won't spoil anything for you here, but Episode 5 of "Game of Thrones," "The Wolf and the Lion," basically body-slammed all other trending topics in the feed last night. Jon Favreau called for Peter Dinklage to receive an Emmy. Ed Brubaker dropped an f-bomb, and Antony Johnston didn't even need to watch the episode to know what everyone was tweeting about.
The tweet recap below includes their shock, as well as some approval for Neil Gaiman's "Doctor Who" episode, piracy frustration, and a tweet about the Space Shuttle Endeavor's launch that sounds a little dubious. You be the judge after the jump.

@BrianDenham A little kid told me about watching Thor on DVD because they know someone who got it before the movie came out. Pirate Parents-you suck.
