Desperate. That’s the word to describe the feeling flowing through Suits Season 6 Episode 16 as everyone scrambled to try and help Mike Ross once again.
Wherever Mike Ross goes, drama follows and those closest to him tend to get sucked into it with him.
Take Oliver and Nathan.
Is Mike that naive that he didn’t think that a $50,000 check would make a huge difference to the legal aid office. Those type of places are generally scraping by and Mike appeared genuinely surprised by Nathan’s reaction.
Oliver didn’t seem to know what to make of Mike. Was he his mentor or a lying fraud looking to use the legal aid office as nothing more than a means to and end?
One minute Oliver was calling Mike out, the next he was defending him. I look forward to seeing his reaction when he finds out that Mike’s bringing him over to Pearson,...

Warning: Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you have not watched Wednesday’s season finale of Suits.
Suits’ Mike Ross is officially a lawyer.
After six seasons of skirting the system, Mike finally accomplished the impossible, passing the bar (following a lengthy hearing) and becoming a legitimate attorney at the end of Wednesday’s season finale. The journey to get to that point, however, was risky.
At one point, Mike was offered a deal: Admit his mentor, Harvey Specter, employed him at Pearson Specter Litt knowing full well he had no law degree, and Mike would get in scot-free, meaning Harvey would be disbarred. Thankfully, that didn’t happen.

What’s life going to be like for Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) now that he’s a free man on Suits?
Things got off to a rocky start for the former lawyer, still acclimating to his new reality after being behind bars and forced to move on from the law. But at least one relationship is still intact: his romance with fiancée Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), who received a stellar offer to stay put at Specter Litt.

Mike Ross is out of jail and Jessica Pearson has left the building. So, now what? That's the question facing every single character on Suits as the show returns for the second half of season six on Wednesday, Jan. 25. And one many fans of the USA drama have been asking themselves during the show's hiatus. But if anyone thought these new episodes would see a return to business as normal, well, they were dead wrong. Especially where Mike is concerned. In this sneak peek of the midseason premiere, exclusive to E! News, Harvey's (Gabriel Macht) already made an offer to his right-hand man to return to the firm (albeit in a legal capacity this time), but Mike (Patrick J. Adams) wants no part of...

With Arrival and the upcoming Blade Runner 2049 under his belt, Denis Villeneuve is one of the go-to sci-fi filmmakers right now, and his résumé could only get more impressive now that he's being eyed to helm the new Dune movie for Legendary Entertainment.

Thomas Tull has struck a deal with the Frank Herbert estate for motion picture rights to the late author’s celebrated novels.
Dalian Wanda-owned Legendary will develop and produce possible film or TV projects for the global market.
Tull (pictured), vice-chairman of worldwide production Mary Parent and Cale Boyter will produce for Legendary alongside Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt and Kim Herbert as executive producers.
Dune was turned into a 1984 film by Dino De Laurentiis Company that David Lynch directed.
It starred Kyle MacLachlan as Paul Atreides, the scion to a desert planet dynasty who leads a rebellion to return the planet under his family’s control.
The property also received the miniseries treatment and a three-part adaptation starring William Hurt aired on The Sci-Fi Channel in 2000.
Mike Ross and Jen Grazier negotiated the deal on behalf of Legendary with Marcy Morris and Barry Tyerman of Jtwammk on behalf of the Herbert family.

Legendary Pictures has just picked up the film and TV rights to Frank Herbert's classic sci-fi novel Dune. A new version of this film has been in and out of development for years, and with Legendary Pictures taking over the rights, it's sure to finally happen.
I've actually really been wanting to see Dune get a new film adaptation! David Lynch's 1984 film was decent enough and has a strong cult following, but the story has the potential to be a much better movie. Hopefully Legendary can bring the right team of talent on board to give fans of the book the best adaptation possible.
Set in the distant future, Dune tells the story of Paul Atreides whose family accepts control of the desert planet Arrakis. As the only producer of a highly valuable resource, control of Arrakis is highly contested among the noble families. After Paul and his family are betrayed,...

One of the most iconic and beloved science fiction stories around, Dune, is getting a new shot at the big screen, and potentially TV thanks to Legendary Pictures.
I read Frank Herbert's Dune for the first time while I was in the sixth grade, and it completely altered my views on sci-fi in general. More than just about any other work of fiction (yes, I'm including Star Wars), Dune is what drove me to be creative and pursue writing. It's a series I've come back to time and time again (I just finished my umpteenth re-read last month), and it seems perfectly suited for the big screen.
Despite some attempts, Dune hasn't seen the same blockbuster success outside of the book realm that it so rightly deserves. Hopefully, Legendary Pictures can change that. They announced today they've purchased the rights to Frank Herbert's series, with plans for a movie and even a TV series.

Holy guacamole.
That's about all I can muster after the emotional events that took place on Suits Season 6 Episode 9 and not all of them revolved around Mike.
However, we'll start by chatting about Mike. Viewers will no doubt be ecstatic that Mike is finally out of prison. It only took ten episodes, but Mike Ross is finally a free man.
He can't practice law, so that's probably going to be cumbersome for him, but at least he gets to spend the rest of his life with Rachel, who is shaping up to be quite as good at her job as he was at his.
Mike going the whole ten yards to get Kevin out was predictable, but it also felt so convoluted that I'm genuinely surprised it was allowed to happen.

Warning: The following contains spoilers from tonight's episode of Suits. If you haven't watched yet, consider yourself warned. Proceed with caution. And just like that, Mike Ross is out of jail. Of course, it didn't happen just like that. No, in typical Suits fashion, it took a great deal of dangerous maneuvering on Mike's behalf to make sure the circumstances were just right so that his buddy Kevin (Erik Palladino) could always walk free while the nasty Gallo (Paul Schulze) got locked away for an even longer sentence. But by episode's end, Mike was once again a free man. And, according to star Patrick J. Adams, it couldn't have happened any sooner. Adams revealed to E! News that it...

She understandably doesn’t want to turn on her father but does she realize that both she could end up in prison along with Kevin if she continues to do nothing? Who will be there for her kids then? Who cares about a payday when your kids are in foster care?

Mike Ross is in quite the pickle.
On Suits Season 6 Episode 5 we got closer than ever to finding out exactly what Kevin's big crime was. It sounds like it was a bad judgment call on his part.
I'm not yet fully on board with Kevin. I keep expecting something to happen that would paint him in a bad light. I'm still waiting for that to happen.
It was surprising Mike came clean to the warden about Harvey's plan. With everything going on inside, it would have made more sense to keep quiet about what's about to go down.
The warden did have a point that Mike was about to double cross the same person whose life he was trying to save just a few weeks ago.
Did anyone else get scared for Mike when Kevin found out Mike wasn't really in the medical wing? It's not surprising Kevin was annoyed with Mike,...

Suits Season 6 is almost here!
And we had the chance to hang out with the cast last week in NYC.
Sarah Rafferty (Donna), Patrick J Adams (Mike), and Rick Hoffman (Louis) were nice enough to give us a sneak peak of the premiere episode.
Then they hung out and answered some questions from fans.
Some of those questions weren’t quite what the actors expected.
One in particular took the room by surprise.
It even had Sarah reminding everyone that her parents were in the room!
But considering Mike Ross’ back story, we can’t say the question wasn’t justified.
Yes, that's right.
One fan took the mic and asked if the actors had smoked weed in real life.
It had many people squirming...
And most fans laughing.
But it was Rick Hoffman who stepped up and admitted what he's had to do to get it right on screen.
