How did Craig Titus go from bodybuilding champion to convicted murderer? The April 14 episode of true crime series Sin City Murders dives into the twisted story of Titus, who in 2008 pleaded guilty to murdering Melissa James.
According to retired bodybuilder Shawn Ray, who knew Titus from the bodybuilding circuit, things started to go wrong once Titus started to succumb to “the temptations of Sin City.”
Craig Titus was ‘dedicated’ to his sport, Shawn Ray says
Ray opens up about Titus in the upcoming episode of Oxygen True Crime’s Sin City Murders.
“My experience with Craig was that he was dedicated,” Ray says in a clip from the show.
Titus’s commitment to bodybuilding propelled him to the top of his sport.
“Craig was a hardcore bodybuilder. He finished second in the Olympia twice, second in the world,” explains Lonnie Teper, a bodybuilding journalist and emcee. “He won the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic.

Exclusive: Buffalo 8 has set a November 4 release date on Prime Video for James Hemings: Ghost In America’s Kitchen. The historical documentary follows the profound life of James Hemings, the first American to train as a chef in France, who at 8 years old was enslaved by Thomas Jefferson.
If you’ve ever eaten macaroni and cheese, French fries, crème brulée or ice cream you’ve enjoyed the contributions of Hemings, an older brother of Sally Hemings, who gave birth to six of Thomas Jefferson’s children. He also was a half-sibling of Jefferson’s wife Martha Jefferson, with whom he shared John Wayles as father.
When Jefferson was appointed Minister to France he selected, among others, Hemings to accompany him to Paris. There he trained to be a French chef and, in an era where enslaved people were purposefully kept illiterate, Chef Hemings learned to read, write and speak both English and French.

Executive produced by Bryan Fuller ("Hannibal"), Fangoria's Phil Noble Jr., Kelly Ryan, and Steakhaus Productions, Shudder's "Queer For Fear: The History of Queer Horror" is a formidable four-part docuseries unveiling and gleefully celebrating the genre's queer roots. Asking any docuseries to embody, explain, and dissect the entirety of queer horror cinema is a lot, honey! Frankly, it's equally hard to review this as our community contains multitudes.
What I glean from this as a white, Afab, non-binary, bisexual will be different from what others will. But that's the central point of this project: Every queer creator has a story to tell, and queer audiences will take different things from those scenes based on their experiences. Refreshingly, the talking heads in this piece don't always agree — even on delightful questions like if Mrs. Danvers (from 1940's "Rebecca") is a top or bottom — giving it a conversational tone that welcomes you...
