There's a lot of similarities in the way that we were raised and our childhoods - what music we were exposed to at what age, and how strongly it affected us - jazz, rock'n'roll and classical. He's sort of the 'whole package', you know? He's not just a great songwriter or a great singer, he's also a great musician. He's accomplished on his instrument and he has the experience of being a band member, not just a band leader or the guy who had a big success because he wrote a catchy tune.
