You need to see how this poor little dog gets around with two casts.
The emotional progress of this post goes something like this:
Aww :-(
“Our dog broke both legs when she jumped off a 6 ft deck,” owner Jason Sanders explains in the video’s description. Which is how this poor, little Chihuahua ended up coned, with two bulky casts on her front legs.
Awww! :-)
Jason continues, “She learned how to walk like this and cross the thresholds.”
Awwomg :-P.
And this is how she walks now:
We hope this pup has a speedy recovery, but we also kind of hope she keeps walking like this even after her casts come off. Because we could watch her hop over the threshold all day. And with this Gif, you can too:
While we're talking dogs, go behind-the-scenes of the Westminster Dog Show:...

"You've probably heard little about In the Family, a remarkably fresh and unpredictable drama set in the American everytown of Martin, Tenn," writes Paul Brunick in the New York Times. "This off-the-map independent production was rejected by 30 festivals before its October premiere at the Hawaii International Film Festival and is now playing on a single Manhattan screen as a self-distributed release. In the Family is the first film by its writer, director and low-key leading man, Patrick Wang, whose creative background is in stage acting and dramaturgy. Not surprisingly the film boasts more than a few memorable performances… Yet Mr Wang's slow-reveal psychological drama isn't just a showcase for his excellent ensemble cast. Beautifully modulated and stylistically sui generis, In the Family is also one of the most accomplished and undersold directorial debuts this year."

You know you are in independent territory when someone breaks out the chainsaw. This is what happens in director Jason Sander's Deadlines. The film is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for shortest production time, which is under 24 hours! Apparently, they have done it, according to Sanders (Dread). Inside you can judge the results; so, sit back and watch the gas fueled mayhem explode.
A synopsis for Deadlines here:
"Travis Levon (Rickey Bird) is forced to finish a novel from famous author Simon Woodburn (Robin Steffen) after he suddenly dies in order to meet a deadline.
Gavin Stone (James MacPherson), his callous boss, reminds Travis of the importance of this finale to an epic saga of books. 'The Deadlines' will be the highest grossing book in history with pre-sales, and Mr. Stone won't let a petty thing like death stop it from hitting shelves. Once Travis steps into the writer's seat in Woodburn's home,...

Update: The trailer has been added below! Earlier this week, Jason Sanders and Blake Hooks attempted to shoot a 90-minute horror film in the span of 24 hours. That's a Guiness World Record right there and we got into more details on that endeavor in this news item from last month . The film is called The Deadlines and, according to the film's Facebook page, Hooks and Sanders succeeded. "That's a wrap! The Deadlines has officially completed it's record setting attempt of a 90 minute feature film in 24 hours! Thanks to everyone!" they announced.

A while back we told you about an indie film called The Deadlines that was looking to get into the Guinness Book of World Records by shooting a ninety-minute horror film in the span of 24 hours. Well, it looks as if they've succeeded, and we've got a still to prove it!

Let's admit it, horror has arguably been fairly weak as of late. And now, more than ever, I think we should be expecting more from the genre, pushing filmmakers to push themselves and the limits of cinema. So if it comes between a strong gimmick or a strong film, I'll ask for the latter. Can writer-director Jason Sanders and Blake Hooks pull off both? Time will tell. The duo are presently in pre-production on The Deadlines . Here's the catch, they're going to shoot the 90-minute film in 24 hours, thus an attempt to break a world record. Paul Wolverton will star as Simon Woodburn, a famous author who suddenly dies and leaves an unfinished novel in the hands of Travis in "The Deadlines."...
