Al Pacino and director Brian De Palma will reunite for Happy Valley, a film focusing on Penn State's football coach Joe Paterno, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The duo worked together on the legendary 1983 crime drama Scarface, and Carlito's Way ten years later in 1993. Edward R. Pressman announced on Wednesday that he's optioned the pic based on the best seller by Joe Posnanski. Joseph Vincent "Joe" Paterno who was also referred to as "JoePa," coached the Penn State Nittany Lions from 1966 until 2011 when he was fired by the university after a child sex abuse scandal which involved his former assistant coach Joe Sandusky. FBI director Louis Freeh conducted an investigation which, in July last year, found that PAterno concealed facts relating to Sandusky's sexual abuse of young boys.
