- Gina Schock was born on August 31, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. She is an actress and composer, known for Bull Durham (1988), The Accused (1988) and Superstar (1999).
- Was born with a heart defect, which was only discovered when she was 26, and preparing to go on tour to promote the Go-Go's 1984 "Talk Show" album. She had open-heart surgery to fix the defect, and recovered in time to make the tour. A photo of Schock displaying her surgical scar appeared later in "Rolling Stone" magazine.
- Drummer for the early to mid-1980s rock band The Go-Go's.
- She and The Go-Go's were awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 6652 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.
