KCTV5 You know what homeowners associations across the nation really needed? More bad press. Ella Joe Schultz, 6, of Raymore, Oklahoma, has acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Her fight has been especially difficult: She's gone through multiple surgeries and gets five to seven IV treatments daily. Her chances of survival were below five percent at one time, and her family has called hospice twice. Ella's aunt submitted her niece's story to Make-a-Wish. Ella's wish was relatively simple, as far as wishes go: She wanted a two-story playhouse with a telephone in her backyard. Make-a-Wish approved the request - with labor and materials paid for by the local J.
