Singing cowboy star of mid-1930's Poverty Row low budget westerns. A former vaudevillian, he began in films from 1924 with Pathe and Mack Sennett and was often partnered by comic sidekick Al St. John. He also sang with the San Francisco Light Opera Company. In later years, he became successful in Hollywood real estate.
