Arabella Burfitt-Dons’ dark coming-of-age music drama film “Finding My Voice” has completed principal photography and is currently in post.
Debutant Anais Garness is in the lead role of teenage aspiring singer-songwriter Melanie Kendall, raised in a North London council apartment by her mother Lisa, portrayed by “Bionic Woman” star Michelle Ryan. Indonesian actor Arifin Putra, known for his role in cult film “The Raid 2,” plays music producer Chris Russell. The cast also includes Junior Andre (“On the Other Foot”), BAFTA-nominated Kierston Wareing (“It’s a Free World…”), Tracy Shaw (“Coronation Street”), musician and actor Peter Andre, Vicki Michelle (“Allo! Allo!”) Nick Moran (the Harry Potter franchise) and Rachel Warren (“Rise of the Footsoldiers”). British presenter Dave Berry also stars in the film presenting on his Absolute Radio breakfast show.

Ten projects received awards of up to £120,000 for production, and five projects took £10,000 to support development.
The British Film Institute (BFI) is investing £1.1m in 15 new animation projects, as part of the second iteration of the BFI Short Form Animation Fund.
For the latest iteration of the fund, the BFI has partnered with StoryFutures Academy, the National Centre for Immersive Storytelling, to support two immersive virtual or augmented reality projects out of the slate of 15.

The above is an example of a conversation regularly heard in our house. The only variants are that sometimes it was 'that girl from that thing', and a lot of the time the song was far from good.
Well sod it – I think we as a nation need to have more discussions about Craig McLachlan and Stefan Dennis. It's the only way our society will grow. So here are 12 songs from Soapland that weren't done by Kylie, Jason, or Kylie and Jason.
