Tara and Jack were the first to perform in the face-off. Their chosen dance style was contemporary/freestyle and their song medley featured the following songs – ‘Ek Ladki Bheegi Bhaagi Si’, ‘Chahun Main Ya Naa’, ‘Uff Teri Adaa’. Saturday’s episode opened with hosts Manish and Ranvir sitting in a Sholay style motorbike singing ‘Ye Dosti, Hum Nahin Todenge’ from the film Sholay. The song ended and contestant Mouni proved to be a “distraction” for the boys and the audience were led to thinking they have had an accident. The next scene had two coffins and the judges and contestants were crying as if the hosts Manish and Ranvir are no more. But of course, they both turned up (much to the “disappointment of the judges/contestants!) and the show began as normal. Thankfully!
The first contestant who was safe from eliminations, was Sophie. It was great to see her out of the face-off and being the first contestant to perform on the show. Sophie and her choreographer Deepak, performed an aerial act and their chosen dance style was Aerial and Freestyle. Before Sophie’s act began, we...

A tired but excited Saif Ali Khan promoted his upcoming release Cocktail, directed by Homi Adajani in the British capital earlier this month. The 41-year-old actor flew into London after finishing the Turkey schedule of Race 2.
Khan, who shot Cocktail primarily in London, excitedly spoke about the film to BollySpice reporter Sunny Malik. Check out what Saif said about the marketing strategy of the film, things he learnt from Agent Vinod, working with leading actress Deepika Padukone and newcomer Diana Penty and much more.
Before the trailer of Cocktail came out about two months ago, hardly anyone knew about the film as there was no poster and it was not being talked about much. Was that a pre-planned strategy to create maximum buzz in just the last two months before the release of the film?
I think, they (the marketing team) said that they wanted to promote the film...

There is tremendous anticipation about the Love Aaj Kal pair coming together again in Prakash Jha's Aarakshan. Distributors clamouring to buy Jha's post-Raajneeti multi-starrer are looking to see what crackling chemistry Jha creates between the pair that had set the screen on fire in Imtiaz Ali's film. If waiting to see Saif and Deepika in lingering lip-locks and passionate liaisons the distributors are in for a disappointment. The relationship between Deepika and Saif unfolds and develops on a college campus where the Big B playing Deepika's father is the principal. Says Jha, "There's no room for any physical intimacy between Saif and Deepika. Though that's what is expected of them I'm not forcing any love scenes into the script. And if that is a problem for the distributors and the audience, so be it. I can't shuffle around the cards in my screenplay just to get the audience tantalized.

Suparn Verma, the director of 'Acid Factory', is upset with rumours that his forthcoming action thriller has been ghost directed by producer Sanjay Gupta.</p><p>'Saying that Sanjay Gupta has actually directed 'Acid Factory' seems to me on the same lines as Karan (Johar) or Adi (Aditya Chopra) being accused of the same for their home productions. I guess there is always a suspicion like this whenever a big filmmaker decides to hand over the ropes to a relative newcomer. It's my turn now,' Verma told Ians.</p><p>The filmmaker had made his debut as a director with Fardeen Khan-Koena Mitra-starrer 'Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena' (2005).</p><p>'I have a question for all those rumour mongers out there. Tell me, why would a producer hire a director, pay him good money (and that too on time) and then eventually direct the entire film himself?...
