The last time Muse set foot onstage together was two and a half years ago in Lima, Peru, the final date of their Simulation Theory world tour. The show was an explosive, sci-fi circus rife with majestic dystopian themes, and laser-tag neon lighting. These bandstand theatrics have been a trademark of the trio’s live shows for almost two decades, but for their first gig since 2019, they’re taking a different approach. Thanks to Jim Beam, the band is returning to their hometown, for an intimate performance in front of the community that raised them.

What is the fascination with Ted Bundy? The infamous serial killer has long captured the attention of the masses, largely due to his charisma and attractiveness. So, it does make sense that a movie star would want to play Bundy. Coming as a companion piece to the Netflix documentary series Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, this week brought a narrative take on the man with Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile. Both are on the streaming service and both are helmed by Joe Berlinger. The Innocent Man is yet another compelling-yet-bleak look at the broken American justice system, courtesy of Netflix.
The six-episode series digs deep into a complex timeline comprising two similar murders in Ada, Ok, in the 1980s, with the legal proceedings for both crimes spanning into the 2000s. Although the identity of the true killer of the show's second murder, that of cashier Denice Haraway, remains a bit of a mystery - Ada natives Tommy Ward and Karl Fontenot were sentenced to life in prison for her death, but maintain their innocence - the rape and strangulation of Debbie Carter is solved by the end of John Grisham and director Clay Tweel's docuseries.
Warning: Spoilers and graphic language about the events depicted in The Innocent Man ahead.

The Originals, Season 2, Episode 1, “Rebirth”
Written by Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre
Directed by Lance Anderson
Airs Mondays at 8pm on The CW
On this week’s The Originals, Elijah coaxes Klaus and Hayley out of the shadows, Marcel builds an army, Davina meets a handsome stranger, and Cami attempts to separate herself from the vampires.
There’s no fear of the sophomore slump here–The Originals is a show that clearly knows what it’s doing. The second season opener is just as intense, well-acted, and well-shot as the very best episodes of the first season. Even comparisons to sister show The Vampire Diaries are no longer relevant here, as The Originals is quickly becoming its own beast.
It’d be difficult for a show set in New Orleans to be anything less than beautiful (even if it is, usually, filmed in Georgia), and “Rebirth” is quite lovely. The...

Written by Gary Glasberg and Gina Lucita Monreal
Directed by Dennis Smith
Airs Tuesdays at 8pm (Et) on CBS
Knowing your purpose in life and that you are fulfilling that purpose is not an absolute that can be guaranteed. That uncertainty grabs a hold of Abby as the case of the week mirrors what she considers to have been her “first case”, and her mind begins to assess the role she has played in contributing to the greater good.
When a car wreckage brings back a flood of memories of a similar accident from her childhood, Abby revisits her days as a young investigator in her hometown junkyard. Her flashbacks illustrate how quickly and how passionately Abby has always invested herself in her work, having been devastated when she failed to mend the relationship between estranged relatives. NCIS, Season 10, Episode 11: “Shabbat Shalom”
Written by Christopher J. Waild
Directed by Dennis Smith
Airs Tuesdays at 8pm (Et) on CBS
NCIS returns from its holiday hiatus with “Shabbat Shalom”, an episode that rises above seasonal standards, delivering memorable emotional performances by Cote de Pablo and Michael Nouri, who guest stars in a final appearance as Mossad Director Eli David.
The cold open is the first in a string of scenes which closely resemble any given episode of NCIS. A father and son discover a body in the stream where they are fishing and trying to endure the outing despite a strained relationship. The body found is that of Tyler Wilkes, a reporter who made his way dishing dirt on government agencies and military operations. Impersonating a petty officer, Wilkes was investigating the presence of illegal substances on Navy bases, presumably murdered for getting too close to the truth.

Written By: Alison Schapker
Directed By: Dennis Smith
Original Airdate: 7 December 2012
In This Episode...
Walter and Astrid have dug out tape eight, which says they need to retrieve an industrial magnet from Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Peter is not there, but he does call. He is in New York, predicting Windmark’s timeline to ultimately kill him. He called to warn them not to go back to Etta’s apartment - the Observers tracked him there (or he led them there) and it is no longer safe. Walter is very worried, because at this point, he is more Observer than man, and Walter is terrified of losing his son. Olivia is fearful of losing Peter again, so she throws herself into work and volunteers to go get the industrial magnet.
While Olivia is doing that, Walter and Astrid experiment with the Observers tech that she brought back.

NCIS, Season 10, Episode 2: “Recovery”
Written by Scott Williams
Directed by Dennis Smith
Airs Tuesdays at 8pm (Et) on CBS
The latest installment of the CBS procedural starts off with what may be an intentional reference to the beginning of the Halloween season. Abby Scuito is having nightmares after the bombing, which is not surprising since she has always been the character noted with having the greatest emotional depth. Her feelings about the unsettling apparitions and well-meaning pressure from Gibbs forces her to face her fear of rejection and seek out her biological brother Kyle (the well-cast Daniel Louis Rivera, who appropriately bears an uncanny resemblance to Abby’s alter-ego, Pauley Perrette).
The two initially met last season; however, Kyle was unaware that the woman perusing his pet shop was in fact his own flesh and blood, a long-lost sister. The two high-energy actors play well together, they have enthusiasm to spare,...

We were never meant to know exactly what other people are thinking. It's a given fact that our own egos, not to mention our hearts, are saved a great deal of grief by not being able to peer into the mind of the person sitting across from us at the dinner table, or the girl at the coffee shop, or the estranged lover whose mixed signals you're desperately trying to parse. Sometimes, it's better not to know what secrets lurk inside that mind, what true thoughts they're concealing from you, and perhaps just what feelings they're struggling with. For Olivia, the opportunity to peek into Peter Bishop's mind would be a gift, to be able to separate the feelings that he claims to have for Olivia from the experiences he shared with Fauxlivia. To be able to know, in no uncertain terms, just which version of herself he cares for:...

We've always thought it was clever how both The Vampire Diaries and its sister (or maybe that should be brother) show on The CW, Supernatural, borrow their episode titles from well-known songs and movies, and this week is no exception although some purists in the crowd might be a little put off by Tvd's Ep. 17: "Let the Right One In". Trust us, though; Williamson & crew haven't let us down yet, and we doubt they will here either.
The CW has provided two webclips from "Ltroi" along with the promo trailer, but first here's the synopsis:
When Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) make a dangerous new enemy, Stefan suddenly finds himself in a perilous situation. Damon and Elena (Nina Dobrev) try to convince Alaric (Matt Davis) to work with them to help Stefan. Matt (Zach Roerig) is hopeful that his mom, Kelly (guest star Melinda Clarke), may be back to stay.
