According to the Mirror they are teaming up with “Hollywood power players” to prepare voters and plan to warn about a “deepfake onslaught.” If this drivel is to be believed, the traitors will croak about election misinformation.

Royal pundit Christopher Andersen told Fox News Digital that “Meghan in particular has not been shy about voicing her opinions on a wide variety of important social issues, including politically charged ones.”
He pointed out that Harry and Meghan’s kids, Archie and Lilibet, are American citizens and “Harry is even talking about becoming one.” Not if he gets kicked out of the country for lying on his visa application about his drug use, an issue...

“Mary & George” is the delicious new historical drama from British playwright D.C. Moore, who swaps out stuffy history lessons for a raucous, bawdy ride that fans of “The Favourite” will love. Like that Oscar-winning movie, this limited series on Starz focuses on an era of British royalty that is little-known to American audiences.
Julianne Moore plays the Countess of Buckingham, who groomed her son (Nicholas Galitzine) to seduce King James I (Tony Curran) in an attempt to curry favor, power, titles, and riches in 1600s England. In the titular role of Mary, Moore delivers another powerhouse performance. She owns every scene she’s in and proves once more why she is one of the best actresses working today. Critics agree, “Mary & George” is the Moore show.
Sophie Butcher (Empire) observed: “Moore is on great form here. She spits out profanities and ultimatums in a clipped, crisp accent, wearing...

Fifteen minutes into the debut episode of Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s podcast, the power is knocked out by a bomb cyclone. Her guest, Jane Fonda, continues speaking, unaware the connection is lost, and Louis-Dreyfus frantically attempts to reconnect, amid a few choice swear words and a blaring home alarm.
Rather than edit it out, Louis-Dreyfus saw it as an asset and kept it in the episode: “It’s just funny. So, I figured why not? Let’s include it. Everybody can relate too. I was so tense.”
The Veep and Seinfeld star was inspired to create Wiser Than Me after watching the 2018 documentary Jane Fonda in Five Acts and reflecting that older women, despite having cultivated decades of wisdom, are rarely heard from. In each episode of the podcast, Louis-Dreyfus asks guests, including Diane von Furstenberg, Isabel Allende and Carol Burnett, about their careers and relationships, as well as their views on sex,...

The brutal atmospheric river storm that has been battering California gave way to sunshine and blue skies on Wednesday, and the near-perfect conditions also lit up the face of Christian Bale. “Look how clear it is,” the actor said with his unmistakable grin as he surveyed the environment. “It turned out a hell of a lot nicer than I expected.”
The scene that surrounded him before noon today in the Antelope Valley north of Los Angeles was 16 years in the making, offering Bale another reason to beam as he was joined by wife Sibi, a group of elected officials and tight-knit supporters to break ground on an ambitious project that will feature 12 homes, two studio apartments (for transitional housing) and a 7,000-square-foot community center. The blueprints reflect a village community that will operate with a singular goal: to keep siblings in the foster care system together and under the same roof.

There’s been a lot of speculation as to the future of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s deal with Netflix.
Fueled by their recent appearance at the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love in Jamaica, reportedly at the invitation of Paramount Pictures CEO Brian Robbins, there’s been much talk as whether the duo would continue working with the streamer.
However, Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria seemed to quell these doubts by teasing a few more royal projects in the works from the pair, who signed an overall deal in 2020.
“Oh, what are they working on,” said Bajaria at a Netflix slate event. “They have a couple of unscripted things they’re working on with Brandon [Reigg]. And they actually have like a bunch of development, they have a movie in development, a [scripted] series that they’re working on. So all very early development, with a movie, a TV...

Actress Julia Roberts has been in over 50 movies during her decades-long career in Hollywood, yet she hasn’t gone risque in any of them and she revealed why.
During her new cover story with British Vogue, published on Thursday, the actress, 56, revealed that she has purposely avoided taking any racy roles in order to have a “G-rated career.”
When asked if she has “any feelings of responsibility to other women” when choosing scripts, the ‘Pretty Woman’ star told interviewer that it’s more about what she “chooses not to do”, reports pagesix.com.
“You know, not to be criticising others’ choices, but for me to not take off my clothes in a movie or be vulnerable in physical ways is a choice that I guess I make for myself,” she explained.
“But in effect, I’m choosing not to do something as opposed to choosing to do something.”

No nudes is good news, says Julia Roberts, who explained in an interview for her British Vogue cover debut why she avoids baring all on-camera.
The 56-year-old Roberts said to screenwriter Richard Curtis that she wants to champion other women who feel pressured to strip on camera.
“You know, not to be criticizing others’ choices, but for me to not take off my clothes in a movie or be vulnerable in physical ways is a choice that I guess I make for myself.”
It may be genetic. Roberts said she did her family tree with Finding Your Roots star Dr. Henry Gates and discovered, “I am DNA cousins with Gloria Steinem.”
She also revealed that she didn’t want to strip off for the sake of her children.
“You know, it’s not really what I do. So if you are going ask me to do it, you have to...

TidalWave Comics reveals a new era — or rather, cover — for its upcoming Taylor Swift bio comic.
The variant reveals come a month after Female Force: Taylor Swift, the latest title from the TidalWave’s biographical comic series, was first announced. Penned by Eric M. Esquivel and illustrated by Ramon Salas, the 22-page comic is set to launch on Dec. 13, coinciding with Swift’s 34th birthday and following a year for the recent Golden Globe-nominee’s that saw her shattering touring, ticketing and streaming records.
The independent comic book publisher previously teased the paperback cover featuring original art from Salas in November, alongside an announcement of the hardcover edition, which will feature an alternative cover from DC and Marvel Comics artist Yonami. The newest variant, sold as an eBay exclusive, comes from Pablo Martinena, and serves as an homage to Marvel Comics’ “Dazzler” #1 — a nod to speculation she may appear in Deadpool 3 as the hero.

“Isn’t it fabulous?!”
It’s an unseasonably warm fall afternoon in New York City, and Keli Goff is walking THR through the pieces in her “cl-office,” a unit in her Manhattan apartment building that she has fashioned into a combined closet and office. An accomplished journalist and screenwriter, Goff has outfitted it with standard office necessities. But the rest of the space is brimming with her extensive vintage clothing collection — namely, more than 100 pieces by Black American designers. The “fabulous” one Goff is telling us about is a breezy leopard-print jumpsuit by Patrick Kelly. Known for bold, colorful designs worn by such muses as Pat Cleveland and Grace Jones, the designer, who died in 1990 at age 35, worked in Atlanta and New York before moving to Paris in 1980, becoming the first American designer admitted to the Chambre Syndicale du Prêt-à-Porter, the governing body of the French ready-to-wear industry. “ think it...

“The Masked Singer” celebrated the music of Sir Elton John on Wednesday, October 18 with its “Elton John Night” episode on Fox. Four mystery celebrities sang hits from music legend, but it was Royal Hen who was sent back to the chicken coop after her performance of “Philadelphia Freedom.” The feathered aristocrat removed her mask to reveal tennis legend and activist Billie Jean King.
“It was great, but it is so hot!” the 39-time Grand Slam champ told host Nick Cannon during her unmasked interview. “I’m sweating bullets.” King had the unique distinction of singing a song that was actually written for her. “I’m really lucky,” she explained. “He said, ‘I want to write you a song,’ and I’m like, ‘What?’ And then he goes, ‘What are we going to call it?’ I go, ‘I don’t know,’ he goes, ‘What about Philadelphia Freedom?’ I go, ‘That would...

Spoiler Alert! This post contains details about the eliminated contestant from Wednesday’s episode of The Masked Singer.
Elton John was the man of the hour on Wednesday’s episode of The Masked Singer.
No, the prolific musician didn’t make an appearance (though Jenny McCarthy did mention he was watching). Instead, four contestants paid tribute to John with their song choices. But first, Robin Thicke kicked things off with a rousing rendition of “Tiny Dancer.”
The contestants cycled through John’s hits, like “Bennie and The Jets” and “Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting).” But, none were quite so fitting as Royal Hen’s selection, “Philadelphia Freedom.”
You see, underneath the mask was none other than Billie Jean King, who John penned that song for.
Named after her tennis team, the lyrics of the song are meant to honor John’s admiration for King, after the pair built a strong bond through their philanthropy.

Disguised as a suited Royal Hen, the former world No. 1 tennis player Billie Jean King lost in a final smackdown against masked contestant Hawk. Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 10, Episode 5 of “The Masked Singer,” “A Celebration of Elton John,” which aired Oct. 18 on Fox.
Elton John and Bernie Taupin wrote the track “Philadelphia Freedom” in 1975 at the behest of tennis icon Billie Jean King (whose team was the Philadelphia Freedoms). So, it was wildly appropriate that King performed the song on Wednesday during “A Celebration of Elton John” on Fox’s “The Masked Singer.”
King performed “Philadelphia Freedom” as the Royal Hen — and the fact that we know she was on the show means that, alas, she was also the next celebrity to be unmasked on “Singer.”
“A true trail blazer, she is famous for championing equal opportunities for all, and has made it her royal mission to be a voice for the voiceless,” a “Masked Singer” voiceover shared in giving the hints to whom the Royal Hen might be.

Could Meghan Markle really be eyeing Dianne Feinstein’s seat in the U.S. Senate?
Californian Governor Gavin Newsom appointed a new representative after Feinstein died at age 90. Sources close to Newsom claimed that Newsom planned to nominate a Black woman to finish Feinstein’s remaining term.
A Labour Party source told Daily Mail that Markle has been “networking among senior Democrats” to generate buzz around a political run, possibly eyeing the U.S. presidency. Also, Markle’s husband Prince Harry, met virtually with Newsom.
Newsom hoped to fill Feinstein’s seat for the remaining 13 months of her term. However many of the current possible candidates are already running for the 2024 seat.
“Governor Newsom cannot elect any of those candidates to the position now as it would be seen as a huge, and very unfair, advantage,” the source told Daily Mail. “If he puts any of the very good Black...

The death of Sen. Dianne Feinstein last week at age 90 has left the longtime California politician’s Senate seat vacant, and rumours are swirling that Meghan Markle is among those in contention to become the state’s next Senator.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, sources claimed that “phones lit up” within hours of Feinstein’s death over speculation that the Duchess of Sussex would place herself in the running to serve out the remaining 13 months of Feinstein’s term; Feinstein’s replacement will be selected by California Governor Gavin Newsom.
“Meghan is definitely a long-shot but in the craziness that is U.S. politics these days it’s not an impossibility,” a source — described as a ” major Democratic donor” with close ties to Newsom — told the Mail. “Crazier things have happened.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle came together at the Invictus Games to show the world that all is well between them after reports of a strain in their marriage.
The Invictus Games, launched by Harry in 2014, commenced on September 9 but didn’t see Meghan until three days later. During her speech at Invictus, she apologized and explained that she had to take care of her and Harry’s children, Archie Harrison, 4, and Lilibet Diana, 2, before flying over to Dusseldorf, Germany.
“It is so special to be here, and I’m sorry that I was a little late to the party,” Meghan said. “Just like so many of you, this is about family and friends and the community that Invictus created… so I just had to spend a little bit more time at home getting our little ones settled, getting milkshakes, doing school drop off, and then I landed a couple of hours ago.

Spoiler alert! If you haven’t seen this week’s episode of “And Just Like That…” proceed with caution.
And we couldn’t help but wonder, did Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) just alienate half the “Sex and the City” fanbase?
In the latest instalment of the Max spin-off series, “And Just Like That…” Carrie is deep into her love bubble with her ex-fiancé, Aidan Shaw (John Corbett). The two wake up in each other’s arms, twisted in sheets, bargaining over who has to close the blinds to keep that pesky sunshine from hitting them. It’s a nauseating scene that begs the question — does nobody have a job anymore? Doesn’t Aidan have three sons? Is Carrie just going to spend the rest of her life living off the funds of her late husband, Mr. Big (Chris Noth)?
And speaking of Mr. Big, the man is certainly rolling over in his Armani suit,...

Greta Gerwig’s Barbie begins with a humorous — but nonetheless brutally fitting — homage to Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. It features the same moment of sheer, speechless awe, but instead of a black monolith, the little girls who inhabit this planet discover a monolithic version of the original 1959 Barbie, iconic black cat eye sunglasses, strapless black and white maillot. Kubrick has said that his monolith represented a powerful and unknowable alien life form, a blank canvas upon which viewers could unleash their own powers of imagination exponentially more than a cinematic representation ever could. For the generation of little girls who wouldn’t be able to sign their own checks without a man, have careers beyond those ascribed to the softer sex, nor even keep their own names, the canvas for unleashing their imaginations was Barbie.

“And Just Like That …” actor Julie Halston is ready for her Nsfw close-up. The Broadway veteran tells me it’s time for her zany ladies-who-lunch character, Bitsy von Muffling, to have a sex scene on the “Sex and the City” spinoff.
“First of all, I have pretty tits,” Halston says. “If Mpk [showrunner Michael Patrick King] said, ‘Hey, you wanna show your tits?’ I’d be like, ‘Uh, yeah!’ But they’d have to give me a little bit of advance notice so that I could pump up the arms a little bit. Even if it’s not a super sexy scene, it would be nice to see a big makeout scene or a big heavy romance.”
In “Ajlt” Episode 4, Bitsy is at the center of some Nfsw content when she sends Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) a photo of a suitor’s impressive manhood. “I did see the photo beforehand, and I was like,...

Imelda Marcos, the former first lady of the Philippines who became notorious for the way she used her position to fund a lavish lifestyle, will be at the center of a new limited series that is being developed by producer Lisa Saltzman. “Chasing Imelda” is inspired by journalist Katherine Ellison’s biography, “Imelda: Steel Butterfly of the Philippines.” The announcement comes in a moment of, I guess, rediscovery for Imelda. After all, Marcos is the central figure in a new Broadway musical “Here Lies Love” from David Byrne and Fatboy Slim (there’s just something about all those shoes).
Ellison is a journalist, strategist and writer, whose examinations of the corruption of Imelda and her husband Ferdinand Marcos for The San Jose Mercury News won her a Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting in 1986. This limited series reveals the dark side of one of history’s most notorious figures and showcases...

The comedy series "Minx" takes viewers back to the 1970s and the very beginnings of magazines centered around women's sexuality. The series follows a exuberant young feminist named Joyce (Ophelia Lovibond), who seeks to create a magazine focused on women's rights and dismantle the rigid gender norms of the 1970s. In an industry dominated by men, this proves to be difficult until she teams up with adult-magazine publisher Doug Renetti (Jake Johnson). Together, they work to create the first-ever erotic magazine targeted toward women. In season two (which airs on Starz after the show was dropped by Max), the company has to balance its early success with staying true to their roots.
"Minx" takes place during one of the most influential periods in history for feminism and sexual expression, but is it based on a true story? While "Minx" is not based on one singular story, it is inspired by real events of the 1970s.

In the new season of the Seventies workplace comedy Minx, Joyce Prigger’s fortunes couldn’t be more on the rise. The titular magazine, which pairs feminist journalism with full frontal male photo spreads, is thriving, turning Joyce into a minor celebrity who hobnobs with Linda Ronstadt, Gloria Steinem, and other icons of the period. When Rolling Stone comes to profile her (in an episode with more than a whiff of Almost Famous), she admits to the reporter that getting everything she wants has only left her fearing that it can all be taken away.

The most recent episode of And Just Like That… brought the return of icy but beloved Enid Frick, Carrie Bradshaw’s Vogue editor. The famed character first appeared in the tail end of Sex and the City. Two years after Sex and the City wrapped, Meryl Streep took on the role of Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada. Fans quickly noticed the similarities between the two characters, both appearing to have been based on the real-life Vogue editor, Anna Wintour. The fourth episode of season 2, “Alive!,” just revealed that Enid and Miranda have something else in common; they live in the same house.
Enid Frick and Miranda Priestly seem to be based on the same person
When Carrie Bradshaw was hired as a freelancer for Vogue, she came face-to-face with one of her toughest critics. Enid Frick, the editor of Vogue, didn’t find Carrie Bradshaw charming or cute.

Stand-up comic. Talk show innovator. The View firebrand. Betty Rubble. There’s very little Rosie O’Donnell, 61, has left to accomplish in her singular career. From the moment she broke out of Long Island with a performance on Star Search in 1984, O’Donnell has proved a highly resilient, sometimes confrontational and always entertaining force. She’s also among the most fiercely outspoken advocates of LGBTQ+ causes in Hollywood. (She launched her own gay family cruise line, for heaven’s sake.) Turner, who died Wednesday at 83, carried the whole story of American music in her voice, because in so many ways, she was that story, but she was also a lot more.

Despite doubters, the New York Police Department has confirmed that there was a paparazzi pursuit of the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle last night.

On Tuesday evening, May 16, the NYPD assisted the private security team protecting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. There were numerous photographers that made their transport challenging. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at their destination and there were no reported collisions, summonses, injuries, or arrests in regard.
