Back in 2016, we were happy to share Nikhil Bhagat's atmospheric short film As They Continue to Fall (written by C. Robert Cargill), and in his new short film, The Wheel, Bhagat introduces us to a demonic toy Ferris wheel that offers a one-way ticket to Hell for those unfortunate enough to cross its path. You can get your own "ticket to ride" by watching The Wheel right here on Daily Dead... just be prepared to encounter a cursed item that would be right at home behind glass in the Warrens' Occult Museum!
Press Release: Directed by Nikhil Bhagat, The Wheel is a twisted tale about a toy Ferris wheel, demonic entities, and a ride to hell.
In The Wheel, a woman receives an antique toy Ferris wheel from her husband to sell in their shop. However, once nightfall hits, the wheel is not as innocent as it seems -...

It was late November, 2016 when I visited the set of The Conjuring 2 (directed by James Wan). The reason I never wrote about it for Clothes on Film or anywhere else was because of my official role on the day: I was playing an extra (or background artist if you like) during the film’s Maida Vale pub scene. Specifically this is the moment when real life husband and wife paranormal investigator team, Lorraine (Vera Farmiga) and Ed Warren (Patrick Wilson) meet with noted experts in their field to discuss the validity of their current case, aka the Enfield poltergeist. I made the finished cut, by the skin of my teeth I imagine. If you are so inclined, look out for a lightly moustachioed fella with curly hair sitting at the bar. Yes, that’s me.

A prequel spin-off to The Conjuring, Annabelle hits theaters later this week, and two new B-roll videos show the filming of the Forms’ desperate meeting with Father Perez, the crafting of a classic stormy night atmosphere, setting up a baby carriage / garbage truck collision, and more.

“I don’t think what you’re experiencing is a ghost.” No, the force haunting the Forms family is much more malevolent, and it has followed them to their new home via a doll. Annabelle is a spin-off of James Wan’s The Conjuring, and the film’s new trailer shows some of the horrors viewers can expect to experience upon its October release.
From Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema, Annabelle is set to be released on October 3rd.
