Edie Falco also stars in the feature, along with Ramon Rodriguez, Bradley Whitford and Common.
Pamela Gray, Annie Mumolo and Tim Lovestedt wrote the screenplay for Megan Leavey, which was produced by Mickey Liddell, Pete Shilaimon and Jennifer Monroe.

Los Angeles-Based TriCoast Worldwide has acquired worldwide sales rights to Virtu* Entertainment’s Battle Scars and is selling here at Afm.
Danny Buday directs from his screenplay about an Afghanistan veteran who returns to his Us homestead where he gets sucked into a violent world as dangerous as the battlefield.

Swain will play a young actress who travels to a remote desert location to shoot a film called Slaughter, only to discover she and her co-stars have been cast in a snuff film and must fight to survive.

The feature, set for a late-summer production in Connecticut, is the second co-production between the new Maverick Films genre arm and Angel Baby. The first, Slamdance horror screenplay competition winner Slaughter, from writers Nathan Brookes and Bobby Darby, begins production in July.
Digger follows Joshua Bauer, a man forced to dig graves by hand as a youth who seeks revenge through a brutal killing spree. The producers hope to launch Bauer as a new horror icon.
Angel Baby's Gregory Segal and Gallagher will serve as producers with Maverick Films' Oseary, Mark Morgan and Eric Thompson. Cheri Wozniak, who brought the project into the new horror label, will executive produce. The screenplay is written by Stephen Lancellotti.
