We’re going to nominate this as the picture of the year! Prince William and Kate Middleton visited Centrepoint’s Camberwell Foyer yesterday, of which they’re both patrons. Serious hi jinks ensued with a 18 year old Vanessa Boeteng, who lives at Centrepoint. When the Prince asked her if he, “looked dapper in his wedding suit”, her answer got him to bust a move. Boateng said, “Nooooooo… Your swag was on point! He said ‘swag?’ Then we made up this dance. You dust your shoulders off twice.” And that’s the photograph you see, folks. Prince William and his swag dance, with Kate giggling at him. And you ask us why we love them?
The couple also got into aprons and made gingerbread and cookies topped with hundreds and thousands for all the residents. It was also 18 year old Tasha Barbi‘s birthday (she also lives at Centrepoint), and when...

"Whoever wrote the plays is saying we're all equal, we're all foolish and at moments we're all fabulous."
Now Anonymous star Joely Richardson is weighing into the authorship debate surrounding Shakespeare's professed works, with reasons of her own why it might not be Stratford's celebrated son who picked up his quill.
"Shakespeare's daughters were illiterate, and I just can't believe that a literary genius would not impart some of that to his offspring," she explains.
"“That's the one that sticks with me the most. The argument I don't like is the class argument, where people are saying that only a toff could write the plays as opposed to a commoner."
Richardson, impossibly Amazonian and bright-eyed on this bleak Tuesday afternoon in London, believes there is much to enjoy in the film, whatever the authenticity of the works which inspired it:
"I think ultimately it doesn't matter. It's not a documentary.

Legendary actor and life-long activist Vanessa Redgrave on bad habits, brother Corin and why the battle for the beleaguered Travellers of Dale Farm matters so much to her
When Corin Redgrave suffered a heart attack while pleading with councillors not to evict Travellers from Dale Farm in Essex in summer 2005, his sister, Vanessa, was thousands of miles away in the Us. "If it wasn't for a Traveller giving him mouth to mouth, he would have died," she says. "As it was he had such loss of oxygen to his brain that he had extreme short-term memory loss. Forty Travellers came to the Basildon hospital to pray for him."
So is her current support for the Travellers due to be evicted from Dale Farm later this month to honour her dead brother? "Oh very, very, very much so. The Dale Farm Travellers are inseparable from him for me. It's totally personal.

It's been a while since "One Tree Hill" fans have heard new music from Haley James Scott (Bethany Joy Galeotti), but we'll be treated to a special performance on Tuesday's crossover event with "Life Unexpected."
When Haley and Mia (Kate Voegele) take a trip to Portland to perform at the Sugar Magnolia festival that Cate's (Shiri Appleby) radio station is promoting, CW worlds collide.
Though Haley is initially reluctant to take the stage, her hesitation is short-lived after Mia announces her.
"Life Unexpected" executive producer Liz Tigelaar also had a brief a moment of hesitation when the idea of a crossover was first presented to her. "I wasn't sure how it'd work," she told Zap2it when we stopped by the set to watch the "Life Unexpected" and "One Tree Hill" stars take the stage. "I didn't want it to be cheesy, and I'm sure [the "One Tree Hill" team] didn't want it to be cheesy.

Hollywood Week begins tonight on American Idol, and over the next two weeks, we'll see 181 Golden Ticket recipients whittled down to 24 semifinalists. There'll be tears. There'll be fights. There'll be Ellen DeGeneres in the Paula Abdul Memorial Chair! But before we get there, I'm going to count down the top 20 contestants from the last four weeks of auditions, and then ask you to vote for your fave in the handy poll that's embedded after the jump. Just Fyi, I had to leave off karaoke hostess Danelle Hayes, who reportedly ended up not going to Hollywood, and I took the liberty...

We're headed into the final week of American Idol auditions -- how quickly they've sped by, yet how tedious they've gotten, no? -- but before we reconnect with Victoria Beckham in Denver tonight, let's take the temperature of where things stand with the Golden Ticket-getters from Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, Orlando, Los Angeles, and Dallas. Check out my Top 20 countdown (hotlinks to all auditions included for those of you with faulty memories/lives outside the Idolverse), then vote for your favorite in the poll (after the jump). And if you're not already doin' it (and doin' it well), follow me on Twitter @EWMichaelSlezak.

In 2009, the number of leading lesbian characters on primetime broadcast TV doubled — from one to two.
Out of the estimated 600 lead and supporting characters on network TV, seven of them of are lesbian or bisexual. And of those seven, five of them kissed women last year. And of those five, three of them made out during Sweeps.
Things looked bleak at the beginning of the year, but with the growing trend of lesbian brides getting gunned down or cheating on their wedding days, and the continued trend of bisexual characters only expressing their same-sex attraction during Sweeps, and the loss of Showtime's lesbian drama The L Word, we're ending the year on a downward spiral in terms of lesbian visibility.

The most surprising story in 2009 was the relationship between Callie Torres (played by Sara Ramirez) and Arizona Robbins (played by Jessica Capshaw) on Grey's Anatomy.

Joely Richardson is immersing herself in her craft after the sudden death of her older sister, Natasha. The actress, 44, said her final goodbyes to her sister Sunday. On Thursday, she was back on the London set of her latest project, a remake of The Day of the Triffids, a rep for Richardson confirms to People. Filming is due to wrap up next month. Joely plays the lead female role of opposite Dougray Scott in the two-part sci-fi drama based on John Wyndham's novel. The series also stars the Richardsons' mother, Oscar winner Vanessa Redgrave, who had already finished filming her role before the tragedy.

The family of actress Natasha Richardson (The White Countess) officially released the news earlier today. She was declared dead today at the age of 45. What seemed like a minor skiing accident on a practice trail in Quebec (she reportedly walked away from the fall, laughing) quickly morphed into a life ending tragedy. Head trauma and brain injuries are mysterious things and difficult to predict (here's an article with a neurologist theorizing on the matter).
This is a loss to everyone who enjoyed her work and of course especially tragic for her family, one of the most important film and stage families of the past century. Natasha's father, Oscar winning director Tony Richardson (Tom Jones) passed away in 1991 but her mother, the legendary Vanessa Redgrave is still vital and working. Natasha performed with Vanessa just two months ago here in New York City as mother in daughter in Stephen Sondheim's classic A Little Night Music.
