- Despite this entry heading, Urbini does not seem to have ever been credited on screen as "Luigi Urbini," nor do his concert programmes, records and music reference work entries bear that name. Checking most of the main titles that he conducted reveals that 30 were credited to Pier Luigi Urbini, 24 to Pierluigi Urbini, one to P. Luigi Urbini, one to Pierluigi Urbani, one to Piero Urbini and zero to Luigi Urbini. Just 12 main titles are still to be checked. His obituary notices in 2003 reported his death under his library reference name Pierluigi Urbini.
