Jason Vail is an American actor. He was raised the youngest of four boys by his parents Robert and Sandra Vail. He has two degrees in acting. He has a B.A. from Coastal Carolina University and an M.F.A. from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He studied with acting instructor Wynn Handman in NYC while living there for 12 years. Jason worked on everything from Off-Broadway, soaps, Regional theatre, film just about anything he could sink his teeth into during his time in New York City. He returned to the southeastern market and has been steadily working in film and TV for the past decade.
Jason has accumulated over 50 credits in both film and Theatre and over 30 television appearances in his 30 years acting career. He continues to pursue and enjoy being an actor in this ever changing and growing industry.
He won the Best Short Film Actor Award at the 2013 Fear Fete Film Festival for his film, "The Cabin", which also took home Best Psycho Short Award.
Was nominated for the Best Actor award at the 2015 Horrible Imaginings Film Festival in San Diego, CA for his work on Hunting Grounds (2015).
He performed his first play in college with fellow Coastal Carolina
University alumni, Michael Kelly.
It took anywhere between four to seven hours each day to be covered in special effects make up for his role as Azrael in the film, Whom God Helps (2012).
