Enrique Juan Vallejo was born on May 6, 1882 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. He was a cinematographer and director, known for Mitad y mitad (1921), The Three Must-Get-Theres (1922) and Tarzan of the Apes (1918). He was married to Katherine Chase. He died on May 3, 1950 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Started working in films with D.W. Griffith in 1910, later working with
Chaplin and Mack Sennett. He later formed a production company with
actor Donald Crisp, and retired from films in 1935.
