- Alistair Vogan is known for Back in Action (1994), That Beautiful Somewhere (2006) and Stealing Harvard (2002).
- From 1999 to 2000 he developed his understanding of story as a screenwriter with Canadian feature director Bruce McCulloch ("Superstar", "Stealing Harvard", "Comeback Season") creating in both the comedy and drama genres, including an adaptation of Barbara Gowdy's "Mister Sandman". During this time he also worked in story development with former Saturday Night Live staff writer and "Anchorman" director Adam Mackay, and provided script consultation for the Revolution Studios/Imagine Entertainment-produced "Stealing Harvard".
- He is currently writing the authorized feature-length screenplay based on the controversial life of Fen Shen Do martial arts master Jacques Patenaude. This feature film is to be produced by Lumanity Productions and Dragon Films and directed by Robert Budrea ("That Beautiful Somewhere" and "Dry Whiskey").
- Story is not an escape from reality. It is an extension of it.
