- Heinrich Weidemann became a main production designer from 1937 and to his works till the end of World War II belong "Robert Koch, der Bekämpfer des Todes" (1939), "Kleider machen Leute" (40), "G.P.U." (1942), "Reise in die Vergangenheit" (1943) and "Der Täter ist unter uns" (1944).
- Without mention by name he worked for several movies for the special effects, to these works belong "Metropolis" (1925), "Love Me and the World Is Mine" (1927), "Narkose" (1929), "Berlin - Alexanderplatz" (1931), "Der arme Sünder" (1932) and "F.P.1 antwortet nicht" (1932). Finally he drew nearer to his origin education and he made first experiences as a production designer.
- To his well-known movies in the 50s belong "Klettermaxe" (1952), "Briefträger Müller" (1953), "Auf der Reeperbahn nachts um halb eins" (1954), "Emil und die Detektive" (1954), "Aus dem Tagebuch eines Frauenarztes" (1959) and " Peter schiesst den Vogel ab" (1959). During this time he often worked together with the production designer Willi A. Herrmann.
- The production designer and trick specialist Heinrich Weidemann first finished an education as an artist and ornamental painter before he entered the film business in 1925 thanks to the cinematographer Eugen Schüfftan.
