This is one for the C-movie connoisseurs among you.
For those of you who don’t know (you won’t), there’s a new sci-fi spoof on the way called Unbelievable!!!!! It stars Snoop Dogg, 42 former Star Trek actors, Michael Madsen, and a ficus on a skateboard. That ought to answer all of your questions.
In the can for what appears to have been an eternity (some of the footage dates back as far as 2013), the film does at last have a release date. I say at last, but I’m not sure it was at the top of anyone’s list of movie treasure troves. Anyway, if you’re feeling particularly trashy (there’s no shame in that), sit down for Unbelievable!!!!! in an online premiere this August 1st. The premiere will also come with a virtual convention.
Two more items on the agenda to go through. One is the trailer,...

Dozens Of ‘Star Trek’ Actors Converge For Snoop Dogg’s Parody Pic ‘Unbelievable’ – Watch The Trailer
It’s a Trekkie delight. No idea why so many Star Trek actors thought this was a great idea, but they did. Snoop Dogg seems to be the furthest thing away from sci-fi as you can get, but he’s one of the stars Unbelievable, a parody film that uses a puppet for James T. Kirk. Watch the trailer for below.
The original score was written/composed by Emmy-winning, Oscar-nominated Gerald Fried — the last living composer from the original Star Trek series.
Snoop Dogg executive produced the film from writer-director Steven Fawcette that also stars Nichelle Nichols (who also co-produced), Angelique Fawcette (also a producer), Michael Madsen and Robert Davi. Also in the film are Casper Smart, Sam Asghari, Gilbert Gottfried and newcomer Katarina Van Derham.
Here are some of the 40-plus Star Trek actors who also appear: Garrett Wang, Chase Masterson Tim Russ, Armin Shimerman, Vaughn Armstrong, Gary Graham,...

It's a couple made in "Face Off" heaven! Host of the SyFy series McKenzie Westmore and former judge Patrick Tatopoulos got married in Malibu, California over the weekend -- and we've got a ton of photos from their special day. Westmore, who we'll always remember as Sheridan Crane on "Passions," and the special FX guru/director/production designer met on the reality TV series and got engaged in January 2014. They said "I do" at Saddlerock Ranch Winery on Sunday, the bride stunning in a white gown with lace cutouts down the sides. The wedding was originally supposed to happen months ago, but Tatopoulos got a Very big job that forced the two to delay the ceremony. "We were supposed to do it back in May, but we had to push because he was working on 'Batman v. Superman.' It's a good reason, I can't complain," Westmore told toofab back in July.

Living dolls, evil witches, incest and orangutan nurses ... "Passions" was one ridiculous show during its nine season run from 1999-2008. And at the center of it all was Sheridan Crane, played by McKenzie Westmore. While the show was incredibly off-the-wall, Westmore now looks back on the series with nothing but love. "That was such a big part of my life, that was my whole twenties. I started that show when I was 20, finished it when I was 28," she tells toofab's Brian Particelli. "For me, that was like my peak years of coming into womanhood and it's one of my greatest, fondest memories." With kidnappings, Bollywood dance numbers and plenty of blackmail, McKenzie says she and the rest of the cast got a daily dose of "Wtf" whenever they got their new scripts. "The more controversy, the worse you could get it, we did it," she says, recalling one particular storyline...

The seventh season of Syfy's "Face Off" ended with an epic choreographed battle between knight characters created by the final three makeup artists. Judge Neville Page said, "This is like Game of Thrones." If only! Yes, the battle was fun, and the characters who were battling were mostly creative, well-constructed, and had details that made them look like they each belonged in the world of a fantasy film or TV show. But where "Game of Thrones"--which also debuted in 2011, just like "Face Off"--has changed and evolved over time, "Face Off" has not, even though it has aired more seasons. It is, of course, unfair to compare two totally different series in different genres. But let's look at other reality TV competitions between talented artists. All those that have survived past a few seasons (oh, "Work of Art," where did you go?) have all managed to retain their core...

Face Off Episode 601
“Sexy Beasts”
Original Airdate: 14 January 2014
In This Episode…
The sixth season opens with McKenzie Westmore announcing that this will be a season of extremes, and they are looking for bigger and more extreme makeups. She also reveals that, new this year, the judges will have the opportunity to offer a one-time immunity to anyone they think deserves a second chance. I assume that this is one immunity per judge.
The episode starts with a foundation challenge, to do a makeup that represents themselves as artists, and inspired by a huge, crazy wig worn by a model. George wins and gains immunity for the week.
The spotlight challenge takes the contestants to a castle, where they are greeted by six princesses in lush gowns, holding a picture of a castle. Working in teams of two, each team must create a Beast to go with his castle and his Belle.
