Michelle Williams, who reunited with former Destiny's Child bandmate Beyonce during her Super Bowl halftime show earlier this month, has signed a deal for her very own reality show. The series, called My Sister’s Keeper, is from Entertainment One Television and will follow Williams and her sisters as her new solo gospel album from the Canadian producer’s music label is released. Capping off a day that saw the worst weekend at the box-office in three years, the 2011 AFI top ten announced and the Boston Film Critics naming The Artist the best film of the year, the Los Angeles Film Critics Association offered the day's best news when they didn't name The Artist the best film of 2011, instead awarding The Descendants those honors and declaring The Tree of Life the runner-up in the category. I don't consider this much of a surprise as I never expected this group to run with the herd. Then again, if you consider that a surprise there are a few others in store. First off, for Best Actress we don't have a win for Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Michelle Williams or even Tilda Swinton, but instead Yun Jung-hee (Poetry) takes home the award with Cannes Best Actress winner Kirsten Dunst (Melancholia) taking runner-up. Best Actor also bucked the Oscar prediction trend,...

If there’s one thing The CW has taught us over the years, it’s that being a teen ain’t easy. Sure, you might be pretty and have a trendy outfit for every occasion (despite having no discernible means of income), and chances are you have a car. But, gosh darn it, there’s always, like, someone out to turn you into a vampire or steal your soul or turn you into a secret agent or set your car on fire with magic.
Yup, being a teen is tough.
But if there’s another thing The CW has taught us over the years, it’s that mixing teen angst with a healthy dose of creepy goings-on makes for a heady brew that can be downright entertaining. With The Secret Circle, we got all that and more in a quick-paced hour that, if not exactly pushing any envelopes, at least...
