'Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls' winner: Lucky and Louie, Chris and Jeff or Austin and Jim, who won?
It is down to the final three teams on the finale of "Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls." The host has told the final teams that he's "after the team that if my kids were stranded in the jungle without [him], [he'd] want that team alongside them."
So, who's it gonna be? The three teams left are father/son Austin and Jim Vach; friends Chris Winter and Jeff Powell; and father/daughter Andrew "Lucky" and Andrea "Louie" Larson.
After fighting through broken flints, being dropped from a helicopter into a freezing cold lake, eating a deer heart, constructing a raft and building a signal fire, Bear Grylls declared father/daughter team Lucky and Louie the winner, telling them that "fortune favors the brave" and that they were a "beacon of positivity."
It was an emotional finale for all the teams, having learned so much about themselves and each other.
Are you happy with which team won?...

Michael Jackson's profound difficulty sleeping has taken center stage in the controversy surrounding his death, with expert testimony at his wrongful death trial suggesting the pop singer went a full 60 days without "real" sleep.
Jackson reportedly called propofol, the powerful anesthetic that ultimately caused his 2009 death, his "milk." Charles Czeisler, M.D., Ph.D., from the Division Of Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School, testified at the trial against concert promoter Aeg Live that the drug interrupts normal sleep cycles and deprives the body of rapid eye movement, or Rem, sleep, all while making a person feel as though he or she has had a true night's sleep, CNN reports.
"It would be like eating some sort of cellulose pellets instead of dinner," Czeisler said in his testimony, according to CNN. "Your stomach would be full and you would not be hungry, but it would be zero calories and...

It was back in 1979 that director Ridley Scott took theatrical audiences on a trip to space aboard a towing vessel dubbed Nostromo. Known simply as Alien, that benchmark film has since become a beloved science fiction classic, and has spawned three branded sequels, plus spin-offs. In fact, even though we’re approaching the forty-year anniversary of its inaugural celluloid voyage, movie fanatics still can’t get enough of the franchise’s iconic, yet nightmarish, Xenomorphs, and its unwavering heroine named Ripley.
Several years after Ridley Scott’s intergalactic tale gave moviegoers ooze-filled nightmares, Canadian filmmaker James Cameron took the reigns and gave fans the sequel they’d been wanting. Utilizing a pluralized version of its predecessor’s title, it released to great fanfare, and has sparked countless arguments since. That’s because, unlike most sequels, Aliens actually got things right, delivering a shadow-filled experience that is arguably better than that which came before it.

Spoilers abound, as we dig into Aliens: Colonial Marines' story, and how it fits into the rest of the Alien franchise's narrative...
Warning: this article discusses the plot of Aliens: Colonial Marines, and therefore contains spoilers in abundance. You have been warned.
By now, you've probably read the stinging reviews of Aliens: Colonial Marines, which so far have expressed disappointment at its antiquated shooter mechanics and jittery game engine. But while Colonial Marines isn't close to the kind of experience we'd have liked (you can read our take on the game here), it does at least succeed in one area: with the assistance of some great lighting and James Horner's classic music, it provides a convincing recreation of the planet Acheron, as first imagined by the 1986 movie.
So putting aside shooter mechanics aside for a moment, how does Aliens: Colonial Marines...

Boy, what a year! In game terms, we defeated yet another visit of the Covenant; welcomed 'future combat' to our fish-based first person shooters (CoD); and survived a Mayan Apocalypse. What? Wait...you're saying that last one was real? Really?
