Was last known to be running a comedy nightclub in the Fort Lauderdale,
Florida area.
Briefly hosted "The Woody Woodbury Show", a talk show, in the late
1960s.
Succeeded Johnny Carson as the host of "Who Do You Trust?" when Carson
left to host "The Tonight Show" in the fall of 1962.
Recorded several successful comedy LPs in the 1960s, including "blue" material, and later had the king of the art form, Redd Foxx, as a guest on his TV talk show.
His first child, a daughter, died in infancy in 1955.
