Sydney, Oct 8 (Ians) Fast bowler Graham Hume will fly out to Australia to replace the injured Craig Young in Ireland’s squad for the upcoming Men’s T20 World Cup, Cricket Ireland confirmed on Saturday.
The 32-year-old Young, who has been a key bowler for Ireland since his white-ball debut in 2014, will miss out on the mega event with a recurring injury. He will be returning to Ireland for further assessment.
“Unfortunately, whilst out in Sydney for our T20 World Cup prep camp, Craig experienced a recurrence of a chronic issue which we have been managing for quite some time,” Mark Rausa, Head of Physiotherapy and Medical Services at Cricket Ireland said in a release.
“Whilst we thought we were on top of the issue, it sadly flared up once we arrived in Sydney and began training. Craig will now return home for an assessment with our medical specialists to plan out his rehab,...

Dublin (Ireland), Sep 20 (Ians) Off-spinner Simi Singh was on Tuesday selected ahead of Andy McBrine as the third spinner in the Ireland squad for the Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia starting next month.
With George Dockrell and Gareth Delany doing well this season, the selectors decided to pick one spinner in the 15-member squad and Simi Singh got the nod.
“One of the most considered decisions we had to make was around our spin bowling options. With George Dockrell and Gareth Delany both having an impact this summer and the variation they bring to the attack, it came down to making a choice between Simi Singh and Andy McBrine.
“Andy can feel very unfortunate to have missed out this time, but we believe Simi offers more variation on Australian wickets with his ability to take the ball away from both right and left-handers,” Cricket Ireland’s chief selector Andrew White said.

Dublin, June 27 (Ians) Ireland pacer Craig Young believes that his bowlers have to be accurate with their bowling plans against India, saying that if one of them misses the spot, then the visitors’ batters can blast the balls over their head. On Sunday, in the first T20I, reduced to 12-overs-per-side due to rain, India […]...

HollywoodNews.com: Lindsay Lohan is reportedly working hard getting ready to film the Elizabeth Taylor Lifetime biopic ‘Liz and Dick,’ but it sounds like there is one thing stalling the process.
It is being rumored that Lindsay is unhappy with the casting choices for the role of Richard Burton, states RadarOnline. The current choices are allegedly ‘Gossip Girl’ star Matthew Settle, Sean Maguire, and ‘CSI’ star Craig Robert Young.
She allegedly wants a major star, but considering her salary took up a lot of the budget, it’s pretty unlikely that she’ll get what she wants.
Who do you think should play him?

Hawaii Five-0 (TV) has been fated to cross-over with its crime drama sister show, NCIS: Los Angeles (TV) for some time now. After Agent Kensi (Daniela Ruah) guested on the show back in the fall, it seemed that a clandestine team-up was ever present on the horizon. And while this epic fandom collision was a pretty fun romp, there were a few misses amongst the hits. But you got to admit, it’s always fun to watch the drama of fighting an impending plague. The facts are these: A frightened family calls the police when their enraged father and ex-husband starts beating on their doors. The Hpd arrives to find what I like to call, The Pus-Man. The guy is riddled with disease and dies right there, and anyone within a ten foot radius should have been running screaming for the hills. Max Bergman (Masi Oka) is called in, and...

Chicago – Lionsgate and After Dark Films’ recently released their third collection of “8 Films to Die For” and this year proved to be the most uninspiring octet to date. With fewer risks taken than the last two years and less extreme failures or successes, “After Dark Horrorfest III” is terrifyingly dull.
Overall DVD Rating: 2.0/5.0 What makes this year’s collection rather forgettable is the lack of extremes on either side of the rating spectrum. The first two years produced some truly excellent genre gems including “Borderland,” “The Hamiltons,” and “The Abandoned.” At the same time, movies like “Dead Lake,” “Undead,” and “Nightmare Man” should be buried in a deep hole and never see the light of day again.
I have to admit that I liked the variety in quality of the last two years more than this year, when nearly every film registered as forgettable more than good or bad. There was one notable standout,...

After Dark Films have shared out a sneak peek into "Slaughter (2009)", one of the selections for After Dark Horrorfest III's "8 Films to Die for". Highlighting that the movie is inspired by true events happening in a remote farm near Atlanta, the newly-released trailer gives the idea that the movie will be violent, gruesome and unthinkable.
Opened with a far shot of a serene farm house, the trailer moves on showing that a young woman is answering an ads for roommate. It then continues showing that the woman is quick to befriend her new roommate when she settles down at the farm. But, soon she discovers that something has gone wrong at the remote place and that it offers terrifying forms of abuse.
Directed by Stewart Hopewell, "Slaughter" stars Antonia Bernath, Craig Robert Young, Lucy Holt, Maxim Knight and David Sterne. The horror movie will be premiered at After Dark Horrorfest...
