With new exclusive behind the scenes pictures, director Kevin Lima takes us through Enchanted, as it hits its 10th birthday.
It’s been ten years since the terrific Enchanted arrived in UK cinemas, just under two months after it premiered at the London Film Festival. The film made a star of Amy Adams, brought back 2D animation from Disney to the big screen, and has a songbook that sits happily alongside the top end of Disney work. Plus, the film remains a flat out family treat.
“It has been a long time” Lima chuckled, apologising in advance if he couldn’t recall all the answers I was after. Turns out he didn’t do too badly. He spared me some time to look back over the film, the challenges of making it, and what happened next…
I’ve only just discovered that Enchanted actually had its premiere in the UK!

If you have a theater fan in your life who has been extra hyped these days, it’s likely because the 2017 Tony Awards are nearly here.
The Antoinette Perry Awards for Excellence in Theatre (as the Tonys are officially known) recognize the highest honor in U.S. theater — the equivalent of television’s Emmys or the film industry’s Oscars.
With no Hamilton-sized hit this year, the race in the top categories has been pretty wide open and hard to predict — with only Bette Midler’s turn in the revival of Hello, Dolly! a lock for the best actress in a musical prize.

Here at Et, we're obsessed with a lot of things -- and for the week of March 13 to March 19, this is what we’re most excited about:
Why We're Obsessed With 'Beauty and the Beast'
We are teetering at our desks, patiently waiting for the release of Disney's remake of Beauty and the Beast. The adaptation of the beloved fairy tale will take the "tale as old as time" back to the big screen on Friday. Emma Watson and Dan Stevens take the leads, with Watson showcasing her singing chops in the live-action film. "I think it's a really amazing moment in a Disney film. And I hope it speaks for itself," Josh Gad, who plays LeFou, told Et at the film's Los Angeles premiere. "I think that all of the characters, including Belle, have just come so much further than even the original."

Need to find a bit of movie happiness? Here are 25 films that might just do the trick...
Let's face it, we could all probably do with a little bit of cheering up right about now. Times are scary and times are tough, so it's perfectly natural to look for some kind of reassurance that everything will indeed be all right in the end.
Film is perhaps one of the most powerful and effective tools in doing this. It can be a transportative experience, an escape from reality, and, most importantly, it can act as a reminder of all that is good in the world.
With that in mind, here’s a list of 25 movies that are almost-guaranteed to make you smile and restore your faith in humanity...
City Lights
In truth, any of Charlie Chaplin’s films are perfect for those times when you just need to smile.

Well it’s been rather hush after the announcement of an animated Spider-Man movie and now we know Miles Morales will be our Spider-Man.
Sony Pictures through its Twitter today announced that the Spider-Man stand alone film would be directed by Bob Persichetti (Monsters Vs. Aliens/Mulan) and Peter Ramsey (Rise of the Guardians/Monsters Vs.Aliens). Also attached as executive producers will be Phillip Lord and Chris Miller. Bedtime at Lily Collins‘ house had an Oscar-winning soundtrack.
The Rules Don’t Apply actress told Harry Connick Jr. on his talk show on Tuesday that one of her pop star father Phil Collins‘ most recognizable songs was originally written as a lullaby for her.
” ‘You’ll Be in My Heart,’ from Tarzan,” she revealed, adding, “We grew up watching Disney shows and movies together, so that was his way of kind of being able to do it for his kids. It was so special.”
Phil composed the soundtrack to the 1999 Disney animated film, which went on to win a Grammy for best soundtrack album.

The new year is upon us, and it’s time to clean up Netflix once again. Don’t fear too much though, as much as we hate to see some of our favorites leave Netflix, they do a pretty good job at adding some great new content. We lose Almost Famous, A Clockwork Orange, American Psycho, The Graduate, Planes, Trains and Automobiles and all the Rocky movies – and we get Intolerable Cruelty, Training Day, The Rundown and a new Netflix Original for Degrassi: The Next Class.

A slew of classic Disney movies are hitting for the first time on Blu-Ray, including one double-pack release, and you’re going to want to make sure to pick these up. You haven’t paid attention to some of these titles for a while, and it’s about time you got the chance to catch them on Blu-Ray. The best part is that there’s a great mix of releases hitting. Bedknobs and Broomsticks is all but lost in the cultural consciousness, and it deserves a return. The Academy Award-winning movie from the year I was born is filled with a lot of fun and adventure, and like most Disney films, holds up well for a whole new generation.
The rest of the group covers a great spectrum, including two animated “big” titles, and a 10th Anniversary release. There’s a lot to expose your family to here, so check out all the info below,...

‘Duck Dynasty’ devotees received heartbreaking news on Dec. 20, when the Robertson family released a statement saying they would no longer continue with the show without its patriarch, Phil, who was suspended after he made homophobic and racist remarks in a recent interview. Now Phil’s granddaughter Sadie has personally spoken out, saying that the show’s future is ‘in God’s hands’ at the moment.
Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson was suspended from A&E’s colossal hit after he made racist and homophobic statements to GQ, and his family quickly responded with a statement boycotting that decision. Phil’s granddaughter Sadie, 16, took to Twitter to express her feelings on the matter, quoting passages from the Bible and The Lion King to let her followers know that the family was doing okay.

I’ve been going to big-time national comic book conventions for 45 years. This amazes me because I can’t imagine doing anything for 45 years. I’ve got a very short attention span.
The first major shows were run here in New York by Phil Seuling, and they were wonderful. Just about everybody in the industry was there, surrounded by more fans than anybody thought existed. In 1968, attendance was around 300 people – 300 fanboys, virtually all fan boys, virtually all asking themselves the same question: “You mean, there are 299 others who are just like me?”
The following year, Seuling’s comic con grew to over a thousand, and many think twice that. Attendance continued to grow like Hank Pym on crack. Conventions proliferated to the point where, perhaps a decade ago, they started attracting extremely serious “support” from the sundry media industries and running a comic con became big-time business.

On October 16, 1923, Walt Disney and brother Roy signed a contract with Margaret Winkler to make a series of animated cartoons called Alice Comedies. What was then known as The Disney Brothers Studio eventually became The Walt Disney Company, a multi-billion dollar creative force crossing movies, TV, video games and theme parks.
With Disney celebrating its 90th birthday today, we here at Digital Spy are marking this momentous anniversary by picking out our favourite Disney movies. Disney has produced and released an eclectic range of films crossing classic animation (see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), live-action blockbusters (Tron, Pirates of the Caribbean) and trail-blazing Pixar offerings (Toy Story, Wall-e).

It was makeover time on the latest episode of "America's Next Top Model," and the addition of male models this cycle certainly made for some interesting results. For the ladies, it was more of the same: hair dyes, hair extensions and haircuts. Maybe because we've seen women transformed for years now on "Antm," it didn't seem all that different, but nothing that happened to them was nearly as jarring as what happened to the guys.
Cory's head was shaved down to the scalp, and with his angular jaw and cheekbones it left him looking almost alien. Don's hair was dyed bleach blonde, making him look like he was inspired by Chris Brown. But the most drastic change was saved for Phil. He got a weave.
