- Feridun Zaimoglu was born on December 4, 1964 in Bolu, Turkey. He is a writer and actor, known for Kanak Attack (2000), Schroeder liegt in Brasilien (2009) and Bücherjournal (1965).

- His books such as "Abschaum" (1997) or "German Amok" (2002) often deal with the problems of the second and third generation of Turkish immigrants in Germany.
- Studied medicine and arts in Kiel, where he still lives today.
