- Josh Kimmel was born in Montreal, Canada, to Marsha and Allan Kimmel. Josh started swimming competitively at 6 years old, and by 19, he qualified for Canadian National Championships. This allowed him to compete around the world in places such as Paris, Israel & Trinidad. He had high expectations to qualify 2000 Olympic team, but his dreams came to a crashing halt when he got word of his fathers' tragic death only 3 months before Olympic Trials.
In 2001, Josh began working in the acting industry where he landed roles in Montreal, Toronto, New York & Los Angeles. He got one of his first credits on an episode of ER (1994), which was directed by John Wells. In 2006, he started up the production company Running Hooks Pictures, which has produced various projects including the TV Series The Future Life of Jake (2009) and the film One Love (2009).
In 2014, Josh moved into the talent management side of things and runs TBT Management, representing some of Canada's top working actors!- IMDb Mini Biography By: A. Nonymous
