Massey was born in Houston, Texas and raised in the suburbs right
outside of the city - Pearland to be exact. As a child, she loved to be
dared to cry at slumber parties. She always obliged while thinking of
her puppy dying or anything else somber. Loving the affect she had on
her friends, she fell in love with acting. Not thinking this was a real
job, she went back to jumping on the trampoline and forgot about acting
for a while.
Soon after graduating from high school, her life took a different turn
when she was asked to move to NYC to model. It is a career that has
taken her all over the world. Realizing this wasn't a so-called real
job either, she decided to move to LA to study acting. She has since
landed roles in several pilots and series, including roles on
Two and a Half Men (2003),
CSI: Miami (2002),
That '70s Show (1998),
Monk (2002) and
The West Wing (1999).
In her spare time, she enjoys eating, sleeping and watching movies. She
is also working diligently on some self-diagnosed phobias:
Logizomechanophobia (fear of computers), Mycophobia (fear or aversion
to mushrooms), Rhytiphobia (fear of wrinkles), and Pteronophobia (fear
of being tickled by feathers).
