After months of speculation, it’s officially been reported that Marko Stunt has been informed that he is no longer with All Elite Wrestling. It’s been rumored for months as the former Jurassic Express member hasn’t been seen on Aew television since last September. Even when Stunt was with the company, he was mainly used as a javelin for bigger superstars on the roster. The former Jurassic Express member was mainly treated based on his height, which is likely what sealed his fate within the promotion. Wrestling has evolved since the 80s and 90s. Thankfully, if you’re foreign then that doesn’t

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew: Dark, which is back in Aew Universal and is so packed with action that intros are ket short and we get right into the action… So let’s get right into this review!
Match #1: Jon Silver & Alex Reynolds def. Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo
My Thoughts: Absolutely fantastic to see Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo back together as a tag team, even if they were booked to lose this one! This match was quite evenly matched for most of the time until Dark Order’s Silver & Reynolds eventually got the upper hand and the pin.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Riho def. Karma Dean
My Thoughts: This one felt a little clumsy, as if communication between the two was off. Dean telegraphed a number of moves and Riho looked like she was almost covering some faux pas. Not sure what went wrong with...

Welcome to this weeks [late] review of Aew: Dynamite, the last episode before the highly anticipated “The First Dance” episode of Aew: Rampage, where one Or More, new wrestler May or May Not be making their debut for All Elite Wrestling… Oh the suspense! While we wait, why not check out this review.
Match #1: Sting & Darby Allin def. 2.0 The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
This is the first time Sting is wrestling on TNT in 20 years… Darby Allin laid out Daniel Garcia with his skateboard. Darby and Sting hit 2.0 with stereo Stinger splashes! The two teams brawled into the upper concourse of the arena. Daniel Garcia jumped back into the fray. 2.0 used “2 for the show” on Darby into the concrete wall! Darby Allin walked down the concourse ramp and dove onto 2.0 and Daniel Garcia! Eddie Kingston came back out and got some shots in on 2.0 and Garcia. Jeff Parker took out Sting’s leg.

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew Dark: Elevation, I’m editor Phil and we’ve got a packed 13-match card this week. Let’s get to it!
Match #1: Jungle Boy def. Marq Quen
My Thoughts: This was a fantastically well-balanced match. Quen looked better than he has since joining the Hfo – a singles match really showed his athletic skills. Skills that were matched by Jungle Boy and then some. And for once the interference from both Hfo and Jurassic Express actually made sense in terms of the match!
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Yuka Sakazaki def. Amber Nova
My Thoughts: Amber Nova looked good here, again probably the best she has since debuting on Aew. I guess it helps when you’re facing a great opponent. Unfortunately Nova wasted time again with her “mechanic” gimmick instead of getting a pin. The crowd was definitely behind Yuka, with...

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew: Dark, I’m Phil and this is the last episode of Dark before Aew go back on the post-Covid road… Which means we might not be seeing some of the extras/enhancement talent going forward, which makes me sad. Anyway on with the review.
Match #1: Lance Archer def. Ryan Mantell
My Thoughts: Archer didin’t go ham on Ryan Mantell, giving the debuting wrestler a chance to show off before getting pummeled by Archer for the win. Made a real change seeing Archer wrestle for a little bit rather than just throw his opponent around the ring.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Qt Marshall & Aaron Solow def. Terrell & Terence Hughes
My Thoughts: Terrell & Terence Hughes got in some decent moves in this match, usually against Solow, but you just knew that Marshall was Not going to lose this one, even if...

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew: Dark, again from Daily’s Place in front of a smaller crowd… This show show look a lot different in the coming weeks apparently. Maybe. Probably not (apart from fans ringside). Anyway on with this weeks review…
Match #1: Wardlow def. Baron Black
My Thoughts: Apart from a few chops and some work on Wardlow’s left arm this match was all Wardlow. All Wardlow throwing Black around… around the ring that is. Nice attempt at a Cobra Clutch by Black though!
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Lee Johnson def. Vary Morales
My Thoughts: This was a fantastic match with two guys who seemed very well matched. Morales was a great opponent for Johnson and offered some great back and forth, meaning this match was never fully predictable.

Welcome to this weeks episode of Aew: Dark, I’m editor Phil and let’s not mess around with extraneous introductory waffle and let’s just jump straight into this weeks episode!
Match #1: Lance Archer def. Rex Lawless
My Thoughts: Well this one went on longer than expected for a Lance Archer squash match! Still this one didn’t go longer than two minutes with Archer eventually hitting the Blackout of Lawless for the win. Nice to see Archer taking on someone slightly bigger than normal too… seems unfair to have him throwing little guys around all the time.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Brian Pillman Jr. def. Bear Bronson
My Thoughts: I honestly didn’t know what to expect going into this one. After all Bear Bronson is a big guy and Pillman isn’t. I know I didn’t expect Pillman Jr. to win with a crossbody,...

Match #1: Lance Archer def. Zicky Dice
My Thoughts: Zicky Dice, formerly of Nwa (and a one-time Nwa TV Champion), makes he Aew debut getting completely destroyed by Lance Archer. Like Totally destroyed… Throw in the ring, around the ring, and in the air. Dice never stood a chance.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Abadon def. Willow Nightingale
My Thoughts: Between Ricky Starks’ reaction on commentary and Willow’s reaction in ring, this match made Abadon look even more freakish that usual. Willow Nightingale has been doing great work on Aew (and Roh) and it will be interesting to see her career trajectory in a few years time. Meanwhile Abadon… well sh was Abadon – badass and brutal as usual!

Welcome to this weeks episode of Aew: Dark which, like is companion show Aew Dark: Elevation, has been on a run of good episodes recently. Let’s see is Dark drops the ball like this weeks Elevation… Straight away it loses points for yet another 2-hour show!
Match #1: Powerhouse Hobbs def. Dean Alexander
My Thoughts: The match was over faster than it took me to write this sentence. Seriously. What’s the point in having these types of matches? Quick squash matches do nothing except possibly make the winner look like a beast and/or piss the audience off with the waste of time in a 2 hour show!
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Dante Martin def. Falco

Another week, another episode of Aew Dark: Elevation – the first of this weeks Aew programmes and usually a good indicator of what we can expect from Aew booking this week. Lets check it out!
Match #1: Lee Johnson def. David Ali
My Thoughts: This was a great match-up between two great wrestlers. Lee Johnson got the rub from this match, furthering his push in Aew. Though Ali looked good in defeat too.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Eddie Kingston def. Vsk
My Thoughts: Another great pairing. Kingston did his usual thing, with a great delayed suplex; but this was no squash! Vsk was given time to showcase his skills even if you knew he was never going to win.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #3: Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page def. Fuego Del Sol and Baron Black

Talk about shock news… Also revealed along with the announcement is news that Wight will comment on a New weekly YouTube show from Aew called Aew Dark: Elevation!
Match #1: Brian Cage def. John Skyler

Natural Nightmares & Nick Comoroto def. Vary Morales & Jersey Muscle Society
Fresh off the announcement he’d joined the Nightmare Family Nick Comoroto got to take part in a Trios match with the Natural Nightmares and – unsurprisingly – stole the show. Comoroto is a beast of a man and he’s slowly but surely becoming one of the standout wrestlers. So much so I look forward to seeing what surprise show of strength (and skill) he pulls out of the hat each and every week. At this rate he’ll be taking on Aew’s main-venters, on Dynamite rather than Dark, in no time.
My Opinion: 3 out of 5

Before I start this review, I feel like I should go ahead and just admit a few things. One, I am a ridiculously huge fan of David Arquette and his work, which includes his performances in the Scream series to Ready to Rumble to his directorial effort on The Tripper and everything in between. And two, I’m one of the few people out there who was actually excited when he was working in WCW. With that in mind, I was already totally and completely on board for You Cannot Kill David Arquette before I even saw a single minute of footage. But now that I have had the opportunity to check out this all-encompassing project from directors David Darg and Price James, You Cannot Kill David Arquette quickly has become not only my favorite documentary of 2020, but one of my favorite films, regardless of category, of the year as well.

Welcome to this week’s All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this show is on a Saturday, because the basketball be phuckin’ with the schedules. We’ve got Cody defending the title against Brodie Lee in a battle of the WWE mid-card cast-offs. Hey, other stuff will happen…like totally! Are you ready to get some? Okay!
Match #1: Ftr (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) def. Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy) The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
“I believed in Ftr a lot more last week than I do this week, after that assault on Ricky Morton,” said Jim Ross. “A sneak attack and they used a knee brace to do it,” added Tony Schiavone. Dax and Quen traded arm drags, and then Private Party hit stereo dropkicks on Ftr! “Quicker than a hiccup, I can tell you that, and they are controlling the pace,...

If I see another squash match on this show, then I’m gonna be so pissed off! So, there had better be no squash matches…Damn It!!!!!!!
Match #1: Rey Fénix def. Lee Johnson
My Opinion: 3.1 out of 5 – This was all about Rey’s fantastic performance, one that was mean and meaty, but had a nice crisp bite to it with a bit of heat…very nice. Really, Rey was the whole reason to see this. Lee did well as Rey’s punching bag, but that’s what Lee was there for. Keep an eye on Rey, because he just might be in...

Since its inception last year, Aew has been a company that relies on records on and statistics. It’s an analytical approach to wrestling that has made Tony Khan’s promotion stand out against WWE, whose booking often feels directionless and without any continuity.
But Aew finds itself falling into the same traps as WWE sometimes.
Mjf is set to challenge Jon Moxley at the All Out pay-per-view next month. Mjf is a future star, there’s no doubt, but Aew has done little to get him ready for a main-event push. Again, in a company where wins and losses matter, and where there are rankings and supposedly a strict system to who gets title shots and who doesn’t, Mjf’s record just doesn’t seem worth of a world title match.
Sure, he hasn’t been pinned or submitted, but let’s look at who he’s faced.

Welcome to this week’s All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and My Girl Bill better not do it with Jim Swafford or I’ll replace her with the Maytag mascot. We’ve got The Joker telling Anne Murraaaaaay that she can’t sing a lick, which is also how a lot of singers get record deals (think about it). Okay, we’ve got Warhorse and Steven Spielberg behind him for re-shoots, so let’s dive right into the fun…The Fun!!!!

I’m Nathan Favel and “I’m Not In Love, But I Called You Up, Just To See If Things Are Goin’ Well”, because you’re getting a Brand New Submarine!!!!!!! Brian Cage defends the Ftw World Title against Brian Pillman Jr., so don’t ask about that Daredevil TV show, because it bored me (fight scenes kicked ass though).
Match #1: The Nightmare Sisters (Allie and Brandi Rhodes with Dustin Rhodes) def. Diamante and Rache Chanel
My Opinion: 2.3 out of 5 – This was a weak match that saw Diamante kicks some ass and Allie followed along right behind her. There’s some-thing here with Rache, but she doesn’t have enough immediate talent to be on TV yet. That being said, Rache has a weird, 1996 Booker T stance that she has when she fights that she...

Okay, here come a thousand squash matches and one match featuring more than a minute of actual wrestling.

Match #1: Wardlow (with Mjf) def. Luchasaurus (with Marko Stunt and Jungle Boy) The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
They were swinging from the fences at the outset of the match! Luchasaurus was taken down by a stiff lariat from Wardlow. “Wardlow just opened some eyes in a big way,” said Jim Ross. Wardlow tossed Luchasaurus into the ring and Wardlow went for another suplex but Luchasaurus escaped. Luchasaurus managed to get some kicks in before Wardlow took him down again. Match #1: Hikaru Shida def. Dani Jordyn
My Opinion: 3.1 out of 5 – I liked the way this cookie crumbled. The chocolate chips melted in many of the right spots and the batter never broke down to sugar soup like when Boo Berry was offed by Monsanto for pissing off the Corn-Holes. Shida and Dani meshed really well and knocked the snot out of each other.

Welcome to this week’s All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Shad Gaspard and Larry Csonka have died. One was a wrestler and the other was a lover of wrestling and both were dedicated family men through and through. They will both be missed. Larry has a GoFundMe page for his daughters here https://www.gofundme.com/f/larrymania-living-on-in-his-girls. Well, in the name of the profession that both men spent their lives apart of, let’s get to the damn matches.
Match #1: Jon Moxley def. 10 The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Mr. Brodie Lee had possession of Mox’s title belt; the minions of The Dark Order surrounded him. Mr. Brodie instructed 10 to take a knee while he addressed the audience at home: “I assure you I cannot walk on water and as you look at me, it may be hard to fathom.

Match #1: Best Friends defeated Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus with Marko Stunt) The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
“Due to inactivity and what is going on in the world, The Dark Order could be dropping down in the rankings,” observed Excalibur. Jungle Boy got Chuck in a beautiful side headlock takeover. Jungle Boy went for a single leg crab, Chuck escaped, but Jungle Boy countered with a rollup for a two-count. Trent and Luchasaurus both tagged in. Luchasaurus used his size to throw Trent into the turnbuckles after a collar and elbow lock up.

Match #1: Kenny Omega defeated Trent The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Cody noted that Trent is a 16-year pro in the wrestling ring. Kenny and Trent chain-wrestled early on in the matchup. They traded forearms and then Kenny began stomping on Trent.

Match #1: Jimmy Havoc defeated Marko Stunt
My Opinion: 3.3 out of 5 – For all the talk of Stunt being too short to matter, he did damn well with Havoc, who got to show his wrestling ability for a change. These guys I really enjoyed this whole thing. The way these guys put a lot of power into each move gave this a grueling feel. There’s plenty of ground-and-pound, but the high-flying still found its way in, which isn’t a bad thing. Maybe we can see more of these guys in this context more often?

February 4th 2020 Match #1: Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Marko Stunt) defeated Sonny Kiss & Brandon Cutler
My Opinion: 3.3 out of 5 – This was a fun burst of action that had as many colors woven into it as a bowl of Fruit Loops at the Gay Pride Parade. Everybody worked well together and kept the pace up near where it always needed to be. This wasn’t long enough for my taste, but it was good enough for that same taste.
Match #2: Hikaru Shida defeated Mel
My Opinion: 1.6 out of 5 – You can just skip this s—. The wrestling didn’t get very far in quality and made me doubt what I’d do for a Klondike bar.

Omega took out Fenix’s feet and tried for the One Winged Angel twice at just three minutes into the match, but Fenix escaped both attempts. Fenix tagged in his brother, Pentagon, and Omega tagged in his Elite partner, Page. Fenix and Page face-palmed each other, and then exchanged chops to the chest. “Chop O’ Mania!” said Jim Ross. Aew crowned its first champion tonight. Who held up the gold when the smoke cleared? We have the results.
With only a couple months until All Elite Wrestling starts airing on TNT, they’re gearing up for one of their bigger shows with Aew All Out. This is the one year anniversary follow-up to All In, the indie party PPV that Cody and the Young Bucks put together back in 2018. Since establishing Aew, the promotion did a huge introduction show in Double or Nothing, then two lesser shows in Fyter Fest and Fight for the Fallen. Now they’re building towards what will apparently be one of their four big annual PPVs.
One of the reasons why it's so big? We’ll finally have ourselves an Aew World Champion via this show.

Welcome to this review of All Elite Wrestling’s Fight For The Fallen Pay Per View, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Aew has got another big card before All Out, so let’s see if they can keep their momentum going.
Match #1: Sonny Kiss beat Peter Avalon
This was a bit of a mess, but not a terrible one either. Kiss was the driving force behind this match, but Avalon didn’t exactly look lousy. The match was kind of odd, but it worked for what it was.
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Shoko Nakajima & Bea Priestley beat Dr. Britt Baker & Riho
This was a fun tag match that was hot and cold as far as action, but when it got hot it burned.
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 Match #3: Mjf, Sammy Guevara and Shawn Spears beat Jimmy Havoc, Darby Allin and Joey Janela...

Unless the building explodes or something like that, then Aew will be delivering a major show that has drawn over 12,000 people to Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a big deal and changes everything in professional wrestling. Let’s stop pretending that this is just some T-Shirt company and take this for what it is. Okay, here comes Double Or Nothing. I know, this is pretty damn cool.

All Elite Wrestling's first PPV has arrived. Who won, who will be facing off for the title, and what surprises showed up?
All Elite Wrestling is the true x-factor of wrestling in 2019. The brainchild of Tony Khan, Cody Rhodes, Brandi Rhodes, the Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega, the promotion will soon be getting its own prime time slot on TNT. The first official show for the promotion will be the PPV event Aew Double or Nothing.
Of course, the September PPV All In deserves mention for being the prototype for Aew. Cody and the rest put together a big four-hour PPV with one-hour pre-show that brought in big names from the indies, as well as showcasing people from Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and even Impact. The show was a massive success and now they’re moving forward.
The future will show how everything pans out,...

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a couple of big time luchadors fighting in the main event, so get your eatin’ britches pulled up and ready for a big ol’ ham dinner and some stuffing with a bit of sweet potato and the cranberry sauce with cheesecake for dessert… very nice.
Match #1: Teddy Hart (with Brian Pillman) defeated Jason Cade The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
While the Hart Foundation is looking for a shot at the World Tag Team Championships, Teddy Hart has an impending match with one half of the champs, Pentagon Jr. next week in Miami. While Hart is focused on defeating Pentagon Jr. and keeping the pressure on the Lucha Bros. (Penta and brother Rey Fenix), he was faced with Jason Cade and his Bad Attitude this week on Mlw Fusion.
