Xavier Dolan tied contemporaries Philippe Falardeau and Denis Villeneuve by winning his second Best Feature award at the 17th annual Jutra Awards. Quebec’s answer to the Oscars was a rather suspense-less affair as Mommy claimed nine (plus the top box office award honor) awards winning in all major categories with the exclusion of Best Supporting Actor category win, which would only end up going to Dolan’s other nominated film, Tom at the Farm. Pierre-Yves Cardinal was sublime in his predatory type role and as was the case for several nominees, was hard at work on another project and therefore not on hand for trophyware. Ricardo Trogi’s throwback to awkward teen years tale 1987 did win a trio of awards, but if there were any surprises in the Dolan camp it was the acceptance speeches: Dolan delivered a keynote speech type quality for the last win of the night...

Former boxing champ-turned-singer and entrepreneur Oscar De La Hoya is set to visit U.S. troops based in the Middle East and teach them how to fight in the ring. The Olympic gold medalist and former 10-time world boxing champion is planning a top-secret mission to undisclosed locations, where he'll stage fight clinics with his Golden Boy stable of boxers.
Up-and-coming professionals Adrien Broner, Daniel Jacobs and Seth Mitchell will join De La Hoya on the trip. A spokesman for the United Service Organization (Uso) - the group behind the initiative - says, "It's a mission to boost troop morale. The group will participate in boxing clinics, share techniques and extend their thanks to America's troops serving in the Middle East."
This year the Uso celebrates 70 years of service to troops and their families. Entertainment tours are one of the many ways the Uso lifts the spirits of our nation's heroes and their families.

Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan is taking legal action against his insurance company after accusing staff of failing to properly advise him about his policy needs prior to his son's near-fatal car crash. The grappler's teenage son Nick Bollea served time in prison in 2008 after pleading no contest to reckless driving for his part in a high-speed collision in Clearwater, Florida in 2007, which left passenger John Graziano with permanent brain damage.
Hogan's car insurance firm, Wells Fargo Southeast, paid out $250,000 to the Graziano family as a result of the crash - but the sportsman was left to pick up the bill after he was sued by the victim's relatives for negligence. Graziano's family filed a civil lawsuit against Nick, his dad Hogan - real name Terry Bollea - his mother Linda Bollea and friend Daniel Jacob in March 2009, alleging they were negligent in their actions, which led to Graziano's injuries.

Hogan's car insurance firm, Wells Fargo Southeast, paid out $250,000 (£156,250) to the Graziano family as a result of the crash - but the sportsman was left to pick up the bill after he was sued by the victim's relatives for negligence.
Graziano's family filed a civil lawsuit against Nick, his dad Hogan - real name Terry Bollea - his mother Linda Bollea and friend Daniel Jacob in March 2009, alleging they were negligent in their actions, which led to Graziano's injuries.
The legal dispute was settled in February, but the cost of the suit to Hogan remained private.
Now the wrestler is blaming Wells Fargo bosses for not alerting him to take up a more expensive insurance policy to cover teenagers driving his vehicles, as they pose a greater financial risk, reports TMZ.com.
Hogan claims the $250,000 limit on his policy put his $30 million (£18.75 million) personal fortune at risk to settle the case.
He is suing Wells Fargo Southeast for unspecified damages.
