Everything has changed on Mayans M.C. The Season 4 finale left a war brewing between the brothers and gave the show “a palpable change,” according to star Sarah Bolger (Emily Galindo). Speaking with Andrea Towers at the TV Insider and TV Guide Magazine studio, sponsored by Hollywood unBranded, during San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Bolger, Jd Pardo (Ez Reyes), Clayton Cardenas (Angel Reyes), and Danny Pino (Miguel Galindo) explained what the Mayans M.C. Season 4 finale means for their characters heading into Season 5. In the finale, Ez shocked everyone when he successfully unseated Alvarez as club president and appointed himself in his place. A final, tense exchange between Ez and Angel ended with the former telling his brother, “If you are not on this train, please walk away, or it’ll run right over you,” to which Angel responds, “Is that a threat?” He didn’t get a reply. “That scene where the two...

FX’s Mayans M.C. is going to war in Season 4 and they’re not battling just anyone. When the show returns with back-to-back episodes on April 19, the Mayans will face off against Sons of Anarchy‘s Samcro—in many ways, the present is battling the past to make way for the future.
“I don’t think [the past] is ever going to go away. Once the water breaks the dyke, I don’t know if it ever ends. I don’t know how you put that back together,” series co-creator Elgin James told Deadline during the show’s TCA panel on Tuesday. “We start [the season] off with a bang; we come out swinging. There’s more action in the first episode than there was in the three earlier seasons. We will take our time and be patient because we also have to reset ourselves emotionally. But once it starts rolling again, there’s no stopping it.

The Performer | Issa Rae
The Show | Insecure
The Episode | “Fresh-Like” (Sept. 2, 2018)
The Performance | As Issa settled into her new apartment and her new side gig as the complex’s manager — squirrels and all — Molly declared her Bff a “brand-new bitch.” But we hope that she’s never completely transformed, because we love the way Rae plays her namesake alter ego as is — with a knack for making punchlines of throwaway lines and a heart that beats too loudly for her to always listen to her head. Plus, who else could sing to their taco, “You are my greatest love,” and...

Sons of Anarchy fans rejoice! A new motorcycle club is in town and ready to fill the void Jax Teller left behind.
On Mayans M.C. Season 1 Episode 1 we are introduced to Ez Reyes, a prospect for the M.C. Just like Jax Teller in the pilot of Sons of Anarchy, we start off with Ez riding his Harley essentially into trouble, and I mean a lot of trouble.
Seriously, we learn throughout the episode that this guy has a ton on his plate.
At first glance, it seems as though Ez may very well be just a Jax Teller ripoff but we soon discover that's not the case. In fact, he couldn't be any more different. Unlike Jax, Ez wasn't ever planning to be a part of the Mayans.
Instead, he had a pretty great future laid out for him. Ez was a smart kid with what seems like a photographic memory.

Sons of Anarchy‘s very first episode aired on Sept. 3, 2008, and FX threw a fitting 10-year anniversary party on Tuesday in the form of Sons spinoff Mayans Mc.
If you’re at all familiar with Kurt Sutter’s original biker drama, the Mayans Motorcycle Club should ring a bell, as the Oakland, Calif., faction was a major rival-turned-ally of Jax Teller’s Sons in the mothership series.
Mayans Mc, though, takes place four years after — SoA series finale spoiler ahead! — Jax’s death, and it follows the Mayans based in Southern California, particularly new club prospect Ezekiel “Ez” Reyes (Revolution...
