Friendly warning: This recap reveals the conclusion of American Horror Story: Cult. If you don’t want to get spoiled, for the love of Ryan Murphy, turn back now.
“You’re wrong. There is something in this world more dangerous than a humiliated man — a nasty woman.”
Those words, spoken by a pantsuited Ally Mayfair-Richards towards the end of Tuesday’s American Horror Story: Cult finale, are the last Kai Anderson heard before his brains were splattered all over the wall. (I know it’s not right to rejoice in someone’s murder, but I have to applaud Beverly’s marksmanship.

Charles Manson is a cult leader that is arguably the most entrenched in pop culture than the others. This is why American Horror Story: Cult probably saved him as the most influential on Kai (Evan Peters). The problem with this of course is that when Manson’s crimes are so well-known, American Horror Story struggles to elevate the wannabe cult leader that is Kai, to the level of Manson.
With Kai’s behaviour becoming more erratic he begins to believe there is a traitor in his ranks. This gives Ally (Sarah Paulson) the opportunity to work her way deeper into his trust, and seal the fate of another trusted cult member.
One problem that I’ve highlighted with American Horror Story: Cult is the fact it is almost turning into a parody of itself, and this problem returns this week. What helps stop that being a problem though is that...

There's nothing subtle about the historical moment we're living through. A man with no impulse control and a vicious disdain of anyone/anything who does not resemble him has ascended to the highest office in the land. Americans are wearing their political proclivities and hatreds on their sleeve (sometimes literally, often swastikas). It's a dumb, ugly, blunt time to be alive, and to it has come an often dumb, ugly, blunt TV show. It is called American Horror Story: Cult. And it's a major missed opportunity.

Experts were talking at panel hosted in the UK film centre at Cannes.
Isabel Davis, head of international, BFI, hosted a panel on ’The Practical Guide to Closing Your Film’ at The UK Film Centre in Cannes on Sunday May 22.
Clare Coulter, business affairs manager, BFI; David Grumbach, producer, Bac films; Kai May, Unverzagt von Have and Peter La Terriere, managing director, European Film Bonds took part in the discussion.
The panellists provided tips for moving projects to a multi-party co-production.
Peter La Terriere suggested setting a rate with banks as soon as production begins.
“You need to know when your money is coming in, and how much money is coming in,” added La Terriere.
He added that developing relationships with banks that understood film financing was key, as they could help you with cash-flow, particularly in pre-production when money can be short. He suggested checking with film institutes who they had strong relationships with.

The Vampire Diaries can boast a history of pretty diabolical villains. Originals Klaus, Rebekah and, at times, even Elijah wreaked havoc whether it be through torture, murder or general mayhem. There was the oldest immortal Silas, who dropped Stefan in a quarry to drown over and over again for months. The always immoral Katherine Pierce whose rap sheet is far too long to squeeze in here. This season's bad guy is a bit of a departure from a run of the mill nasty supernatural. While he can absorb a witch's powers, most of the time, he's just your average sociopath. Kai may not be a menacing physical presence, but what he lacks in strength, he makes up for intelligence and general creepiness.

Elena and her pals celebrate “Friendsgiving” on Thursday (The CW, 8/7c), but this being The Vampire Diaries, it doesn’t take long for the happy holiday to — as Candice Accola put it during a recent set visit — descend into total “madness.”

Via the time-honored art of flashbacks, Thursday’s Vampire Diaries dropped a paternity bombshell of Maury Povich proportions that rattled the Salvatore family tree — not to mention Jeremy’s delicate little brain.

A Db is found in the woods. Tony (Michael Weatherly) rifles through McGee's (Sean Murray) things and his self-help CDs. Ziva (Cote de Pablo) calls that wrong and he thinks perhaps McGee's already satisfied. Tony listens to the man on the self-help CD and he loves his voice, Tony: "...like a poor man's Shatner." Tony knows exactly who he is and doesn't need any help. Tony: "I may not be pretty, but I am Di Nozzo, hear me roar!" Well, you're pretty to many, Tony/Michael. Ziva comments, hear him roar, "like an elephant." Gibbs (Mark Harmon) tells Tony to get out of McGee's desk. Tony calls him 'Little Timmy' who's out buying coffee. McGee meets a woman, or rather, she meets him, that meeting appeared contrived. How long's he been going there and no, not a remote chance of meeting a woman, any woman, let alone one who works there sometimes.
