He's considered one of the Best soccer players alive -- but how did Neymar fare when he attempted to kick a 64 yard field goal with an NFL football??? Not well. Neymar participated in something called the StarClub Challenge -- and tried to see if he could match (or break) the record for the longest NFL field goal ... held by former Denver Broncos kicker Matt Prater. Matt Prater, the record-breaking NFL kicker, has been released by the Denver Broncos.
Matt Prater Released
The Broncos have decided to cut ties with Prater just as his four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s drug policy is about to end. The Denver franchise announced the decision in a statement released Friday.
"Parting ways with Matt Prater—the longest-tenured player on our roster—was a very difficult football decision," Broncos General Manager John Elway said. "On behalf of our entire organization, I want to thank Matt for his seven seasons with the Broncos and wish him well going forward."
Broncos coach John Fox weighed in on the decision after practice Friday. "Any time you make football decisions in an organization, especially [someone] that's been with you for a period of time like Matt, it's always difficult,'' he told Espn. “It's always a football decision, what's going to give us the best chance in our opinion.

Wes Welker, the standout wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, has been suspended for four games for performance-enhancing drug (Ped) use.
Wes Welker Suspended
Welker tried to appeal the finding that he’d violated the NFL’s Ped policy two weeks ago, but it was announced Tuesday that he’d lost the appeal and would be suspended for the first four games of the 2015 NFL season, reported Espn. Addressing the suspension, Welker admitted he was shocked about his suspension and emphatically stated that he did not knowingly take a Ped.
“I’m as shocked as everyone at today’s news,” Welker said in an email to the Denver Post. "I want to make one thing abundantly clear: I would Never knowingly take a substance to gain a competitive advantage in any way. Anyone who has ever played a down with me, lifted a weight with me, even eaten a meal with me,...

After the hard-fought days of Training Camp, after the hard fought divisional battles, after battling their way through the playoff gauntlet, only two teams remain. Fans of the underdogs were disappointed as the two teams expected to win their conferences did just that, with the Seahawks and Broncos punching their tickets to Super Bowl Xlviii on Sunday. Both teams came into the postseason as the number one overall team in their conference, so we should expect nothing less than this game being one for the ages. Here’s how the position battle between both teams will break down:

Pass protection has been the unsung hero of the top-ranked Denver passing attack, allowing only 20 sacks in 2013, good for 32nd in sacks allowed in the league. Guard Louis Vasquez has cemented himself as one of the best guards in football,...

Tebowmania made its way from Sunday afternoon to Saturday night on Dec. 17. "SNL" poked fun at the religious Denver Broncos quarterback by bringing in "Jesus" to discuss his involvement in the team's winning streak.
The premise of the sketch is Broncos' overtime victory against the Chicago Bears in which everything fell into place during the waning moments, including two long field goals by Denver's kicker Matt Prater. While Tebow (Taran Killam) prays, Jesus (Jason Sudeikis) enters the locker room.
As Jesus, Sudeikis complains to the team, "It's not a good week if every week, I, the Son of God, have to come in, drop everything and bail out the Denver Broncos."
He then suggests the team do things to make their lives easier, like study the playbook.
Killam says, "The Holy Bible is my playbook."
Sudeikis then says he prays to Prater (Andy Samberg), noting his exceptional skills in the kicking game.

Two guys walk into a bar... which is strange because you would think if the first guy walked into it, the second guy would have seen it! *rim shot* Wocka, wocka, wocka! Ah, to be a funny man. And that is the subject of the new web series presented by Daily Motion entitled, just that, The Funny Man. However, this dude is anything but funny and actually seems really difficult to get along with.
Dm was gracious enough to bring this web series to us just in time for Halloween, releasing one segment of the project each day from October 25 to November 3. The story (at least what I've seen so far) revolves around a deranged comedian with a real Norman Bates vibe. He wears a mask that makes him look like a walking Hot Pocket, but the bad intentions this guy exudes cannot be overstated.
I definitely suggest you scroll down,...
