This week's installment of Shameless was all about being haunted by one's past. Old enemies, old lovers and one very nasty old lady played major roles in the episode that marks the midway point of the second season. Let's treat this episode like a bucket of chicken and dig in!
Debbie Day Care is in full swing - Debs (Emma Kenney) is charging a delinquent mom for late pickups when someone drops off a customer a little older than the target demo: It's Granny Gallagher, played by Louise Fletcher. She's in a wheelchair and was apparently released early because she convinced them that she's dying (which sounds a little convenient to me - think there's maybe some truth to it?). Right out of the gate she's already dropping gems like "I only go to church when I'm looking to get molested." Still got it, Gran!
