Remco Evenepoel
Remco Evenepoel is a Belgian professional road cyclist. Compared to Eddy Merckx at age 19, Remco is regarded as one of the most talented cyclists of his generation, along with Tadej Pogacar. In 2019, Evenepoel won his first one day race with Clasica San Sebastian. He has won this race two more times since. He has won Liège-Bastogne-Liège twice. In 2019, he became UCI European Time Trial Champion. He is an allrounder of road cycling. In 2022, he won the UCI World Road Championships in Wollongong, Australia. A year later, this was followed by the UCI World Time Trial Championships in Stirling, Scotland, making him the second rider in history to win both championships along with Abraham Olano but Evenepoel was the first to do so in under 12 months.
