- Remco Evenepoel is a Belgian professional road cyclist. Compared to Eddy Merckx at age 19, Remco is regarded as one of the most talented cyclists of his generation, along with Tadej Pogacar. In 2019, Evenepoel won his first one day race with Clasica San Sebastian. He has won this race two more times since. He has won Liège-Bastogne-Liège twice. In 2019, he became UCI European Time Trial Champion. He is an allrounder of road cycling. In 2022, he won the UCI World Road Championships in Wollongong, Australia.
