- Metaksia Simonyan was born on January 21, 1926 in Ashkhabad, Turkmen SSR, USSR [now Ashgabat, Turkmenistan]. She was an actress, known for The Girl of Ararat Valley (1949), Anahit (1947) and Kamoyi verjin skhranqe (1974). She died on August 11, 1987 in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR [now Armenia].
- Metaksia Simonyan graduated from the acting department of Yerevan Theatrical Institute in 1948. She was one of the leading actresses of Sundukyan Drama Theatre in Yerevan.
