“The Thundermans” are back — again. Nickelodeon Studios has announced a greenlight for a new spinoff series based on the popular live-action superhero comedy.
The announcement comes after the successful launch of the TV movie “The Thundermans Return,” which premiered on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ in March. The film was the number one entertainment telecast of the year so far in Nielsen’s Live+3 ratings among kids 6-11 and reached 1.6 million viewers across four telecasts its premiere weekend.
The spinoff series will star Kira Kosarin as Phoebe, Jack Griffo as Max, and Maya Le Clark as Chloe. Other original cast members will appear in guest roles. The spinoff series will follow Phoebe and Max, who are sent undercover to handle a new threat in the seaside town of Secret Shores and bring Chloe along to develop her superhero talent.

En garde! Nickelodeon has ordered the Knight Squad TV show from The Thundermans' executive producers, Sean Cunningham and Marc Dworkin. The first season of the live-action comedy will consist of 20 episodes. The Knight Squad TV series centers on a "magical school for knights-in-training." Owen Joyner, Daniella Perkins, Amarr M.
