Get Ready For Your Brand New Submariiiiiiiiiine!!!!!!!! Low Ki and Tom Lawlor look poised to knock the knuckle-children out of each other like a deranged Easter bunny. I’m so excited to buy a tractor and give it to the homeless so they can mow the parking lot they sleep on at night. We have to care about others. If you are homeless or do know some-one who is, give them a buck and a place to sleep. We all deserve to have some comfort and generosity. Also, I wanna bite ya! Nanananana!!!!! Okay, I’m done filling in this paragraph to make it look like I wrote a lot. We’ve...

Best Moment:

Match #1: Leo Brien defeated Blake Banks The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
A returning Leo Brien comes firing out into the Nytex Sports Centre to start off Fusion from Dallas. The once turned bounty hunter from Colorado was ruthless and relentless, making very quick work against his young opponent Blake Banks. He threw Banks across the ring by his ears (not a typo) before prepping him up for an Oklahoma Stampede for the devastating 1-2-3. Rich Bocchini said it perfectly: “Leo Brien means business” and the Dirty Blonde gives a final stomp to Blake before exiting.

“The Professional” has indeed been a real pro at knocking opponents out cold and even though Yuta has a few inches on Low Ki, the wily vet was ready for quick work. Yuta was squaring to grapple up with Low Ki, but a quick boot to the face sat Yuta down for the quick Ko that led to referee Doug Markham signaling for the bell.

Match #1: Bestia 666 defeated Mance Warner – Mexican Deathmatch The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Bestia emerges at Salina’s command for Mexican deathmatch destruction. Mance came out ready to answer the challenge, but not before taking a swig of that light beer. Bestia however, caught Mancer off-guard with a suicide dive and the two began brawling on the outside. Bestia then presented a kendo stick, which doesn’t take long to disintegrate under the violent use of both Mance and Bestia. Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a big Ladder Match for the main event for the Tag Team Titles. Let’s get right to it.
Match #1: Ace Austin defeated Air Wolf The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Atlantic City’s Ace demanded this rematch and wanted to exact some revenge on Air Wolf after suffering a loss at the hands of the 19-year-old luchador. The two get down and low on the mat trying to outwit one another with several holds that led to Austin having to reevaluate strategy. A frustrated Austin gripped the mask of Air Wolf and aggressively sent the youngster to the outside. Ace took the moment to literally relax in ring as Air Wolf answered the ten-count at five, but Austin immediately dropkicked Air Wolf crisp in the dome.

Match #1: Richard Holliday versus Teddy Hart (No Contest)
My Opinion: 0 out of 5 – This was just an excuse to do one of those stolen title angles. Holliday stole the Mlw Middle-Weight Championship while Mjf jaw-jacked with Teddy Hart. Yeah, it’s as exciting as it sounds.
Match #2: Jordan Oliver beat Isaias Velazquez
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 – This was a good little match featuring two talented wrestlers. The action was easy to watch, like a lamb piloting a B-52 bomber.

So, why not book a match between them when she has the power as executive producer this week? That’s exactly what she did. Josef Samael and Jacob Fatu teamed up to face super heavyweights Barrington Hughes and Ace Romero, who asked for the unsanctioned grudge match after numerous attacks by Contra. The larger Hughes and Romero had an early advantage. But Samael blasted his ever-present spike onto the back of Romero’s head, knocking him out of action. Match #1: Low Ki beat Daga The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Ever since last winter, when Low Ki nearly ripped the ear off Daga, the King of Mexican Strong Style has been looking for The Professional. Unfortunately for Daga, he didn’t get the revenge he was looking for, thanks to a controversial decision. Both men showed plenty of moxie throughout the contest. And early on, the Dynasty duo on the outside had an impact, interfering at every opportunity. Eventually, the official caught them in the act and sent them to the back, evening the odds. Match #1: Impact World Champion Johnny Impact def. Jake Crist, Dante, Pat Buck & Ace Austin – #1 Contenders Match for the X-Division Championship
My Opinion: 3 out of 5 – This turned out just fine, but I wish that it…you know what I’m going to say…lasted longer. The spots looked excellent and the pace was swift, so it all moved along quite well.
Match #2: Team Lucha Underground def. Team Impact
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 – The action was a bit lame, but at least some very talented wrestlers got another shot at showing what they can do. In some ways, this might be the final time we see Lucha Underground in any facet, so there’s that, at least.

With entry to Battle Riot II on the line, Ace Austin picked up a victory over Djz to punch his ticket to NYC on April 5. The two middleweights showed off plenty of athletic maneuvers and some hard-hitting action outside the ring. Djz looked like he had the momentum in his favor. Match #1: Lucha Bros defeated Team Aaa The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Following last month’s announcement that the Lucha Bros — Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix — considered Mlw home, they issued a challenge to any tag team in the world to face them in Chicago at Intimidation Games. Mexico’s Aaa quickly responded, offering to send Taurus and Laredo Kid to Cicero Stadium. The match was made quickly and it lived up to the hype. Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have lots to cover from this live episode of Fusion that is called Super-Fight. Low Ki defends the Major League Wrestling World Title against Tom Lawlor in the main event, so let’s get to it.
Match #1: Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart and Davey Boy Smith Jr) With Brian Pillman Jr. (New Champions) beat Lucha Bros! (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix) – Major League Wrestling World Tag Team Championship Match
My Take: 2.5 out of 5 – This was a bit too slow for its own good, but it was still good while it lasted. It would seem that Pentagon and Fenix really are leaving Major League Wrestling, as Court Bauer had gone to Twitter and wished them well where-ever they go. Since Pentagon and Fenix are likely headed to All Elite Wrestling, it was necessary...

Match #1: Kotto Brazil defeated Vandal Ortagun The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
A few weeks ago, Ricky Martinez attacked Kotto Brazil with a bottle at a Miami night club. Tonight, after weeks of recovery, Brazil was back in the ring. He drew the ever-tough Vandal Ortagun for his welcome back to Mlw. Ortagun was game and took advantage of Brazil’s injury. But in the end, Brazil’s running sliced bread finishing maneuver spelled the end for Ortagun.
My Take: 2 out of 5 – There wasn’t much happening here, but Brazil looked just fine for a match made just for him.
Match #2: Barrington Hughes vs. Ace Romero The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:...

Match #1: Dragon Lee defeated Rich Swann The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
An aggressive Rich Swann took on Dragon Lee in an important middleweight bout to open the show. The two were obviously an even match in the early going. The two apparently even think alike, throwing dropkicks and then flipping to kip up at the same time. Neither man could keep the upper hand long. Lee hit an amazing reverse rana, but Swann hopped up and landed a massive spin kick Swann eventually grabbed the momentum and thought he had the match in hand. He went to the top rope for his spinning 450 he calls the Phoenix Splash. But Dragon Lee was nowhere to be found.

Match #1: La Park defeated Gringo Loco The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
In an extremely entertaining and hotly-contested match, Gringo Loco gave La Park all he wanted. The two battled for nearly 20 minutes to open this week’s show. La Park had the upper hand early and of course, there were chairs involved. With Gringo Loco incapacitated on the outside, La Park grabbed a couple chairs from ringside and put them together. He then scored a massive powerbomb, driving Loco onto the unforgiving chairs. Gringo Loco eventually recuperated and rallied. At one point, Loco was able to lay out La Park on the stage/entrance way.

Match #1: Ace Romero defeated Simon Gotch – $20,000 Simon Gotch Prize Fight Challenge The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
Gotch has been ranting for a week after losing to “Filthy” Tom Lawlor on last week’s episode. He swore he would make a statement this week. He offered an opportunity at a Simon Gotch Prize Fight Challenge to anyone in the back. All they had to do was last 5 minutes with Gotch and they’d win the cash. Gotch was not happy to see Ace Romero take him up on it. Not only did Romero survive 5 minutes without losing, he pinned Gotch outright and celebrated, tossing part of the $20,000 prize out to the Mlw crowd in attendance.

Match #1: The Hart Foundation (Pillman & Smith) defeated Hughes, Dreamer The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
In impromptu tag team match served as our opening bout on this week’s show. Brian Pillman Jr. and Davey Boy Smith Jr. were in the ring making fun of Barrington Hughes. Tommy Dreamer, who has had enough of Pillman and the Hart Foundation’s disrespectful attitude, immediately came to the ring and offered to team up with Hughes against the two second-generation stars. The match was quickly made by League officials. Hughes had the upper hand in the early going as both Smith and Pillman had no answers for the Caramel Colossus.

Match #1: Teddy Hart beat Gringo Loco, Kotto Brazil, El Hijo de La Park and Dezmond Xavier Fatal-Five Way Ladder Match for the Mlw Middleweight Championship The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Hart wasn’t even booked in the match. But in true Teddy Hart fashion, he went ahead and found a way to get in the four-way ladder match. First, he attacked Dezmond Xavier before he could enter the ring. When Kotto Brazil took exception and went to attack Hart outside the ring, Brazil got the worst of the exchange and was helped to the back. World Middleweight Champion Maxwell J. Friedman joined commentary, as Kotto Brazil and Trey Miguel squared off. Mjf admitted he was there to scout the competition, as Brazil will be part of the 4-way ladder match at Mlw Zero Hour for the World Middleweight title. In an incredible display of athleticism, both Brazil and Miguel laid it all out there looking to move up the middleweight rankings. Promociones Dorado’s Ricky Martinez started the show off with a rather easy victory over Dr. Rex Bacchus. Martinez finished Bacchus off with a nasty suplex that showed off his strength, followed by a modified piledriver, which also required a great deal of power. One has to believe Martinez could be a contender in the Middleweight division if he wanted to be. Right now, he seems to be more content to beat people...

Mr. Fun Size faced another youthful up-and-comer in “Hot Fire” Myron Reed. Reed used his size advantage to control the early action. Page took the fight outside the ring early in the contest and rammed Sky into the barricade twice before lawn-darting him into the ring post. Back in the ring, Page set up for a move off the top rope, but Sky caught him with a leaping hurricanrana for a near fall. Sky had two more near falls before Page connected with a lariat.

Match #1: New Era Hart Foundation defeated Rich Swann/Ach The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
Teddy Hart and Davey Boy Smith Jr. are looking to make waves in Mlw as the New Era Hart Foundation, along with their young friend Brian Pillman Jr. Smith and Hart made waves in Mlw’s tag team division Friday night, scoring a victory over Rich Swann and Ach. Swann and Ach will be challenging the Lucha Bros. for the World Tag Team Championship next week. But one has to wonder where the Hart Foundation stands in the pecking order after their convincing – if not controversial – victory over Swann and Ach.
The Hart Foundation was in control of the contest early. But Ach was able to lock in a sharpshooter on Teddy Hart.

Match #1: Ach & Rich Swann beat Team Filthy (Tom Lawlor & Simon Gotch) – Tag Team Match The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
Team Filthy seems to be alienating the entire Mlw roster. They’ve beaten down Jimmy Havoc, defiled Col. Robert Parker’s iconic hat and poked fun at many others. After “Filthy” Tom Lawlor ran his mouth while on commentary during a recent Ach vs. Rich Swann encounter, matchmakers pitted Lawlor and his Team Filthy partner Simon Gotch against the high-flying duo.
Gotch and Swann opened the action with some classic grappling. Swann finally hit the first high-impact maneuver with a dropkick, before tagging in Ach.

Match #1: Ariel Dominguez vs Jaye Skye
To my surprise, this match never got past the first second. Su Yung (Savannah Young) and Zeda Zhang ran out to obliterate the fighters before they could even make an offensive move against one another. This was probably not the best match to start this initial review out on, but it’s what we’ve got to work with. As long as they don’t do things like this too often, this angle could have a great effect on future fight cards. Needless to say, there was no winner in this match.
Verdict: Since there was no match, I can’t really rate it, can I?

Entrance music is as integral a part as anything for a WWE Superstar. It sets the tone for what fans can expect from them and offers insight in regards to what they are all about. Tna’s Kenny King has one of the most unique resumes in entertainment beyond pro wrestling. The hype and hyperbolae surrounding WWE 2K16 is gathering pace.
With the game due to be released for all platforms in November, the development phases of the game are now in full swing.
In a shocking turn of events, Tna star Low Ki is playing his part in the making of the new game.
Known to WWE fans as Kaval, the New Yorker took to Instagram to reveal a slightly cryptic yet blatantly obvious post about how he is paying the bills between Tna tapings.
He said: “Meanwhile, on the other side of the start button…” while posing in a motion capture suit with 2K’s logo in full sight.
This is a slightly puzzling move.
One because it is an employee of a rival wrestling company working on WWE’s showpiece game and two because of Ki’s run while he was employed by Vince McMahon. It wasn’t the best,...

WWE 2K16 will feature motion capture taken from Tna’s Low Ki. It is normal for 2K to contract non-wwe wrestlers for mo-cap purposes, as WWE wrestlers tend to be too busy on the road. Only Cesaro, Paul Heyman and a few other WWE employees did motion capture for WWE 2K15.
Low Ki posted the above photo on his Instagram account, with the headline “Meanwhile, on the other side of the start button..”
You can see the 2K logo on his bodysuit and the points for the motion capture computer to pick up on. He didn’t explicitly confirm it was WWE 2K16 he’s working on, but it is hardly likely to be NBA 2K16. He’s almost certainly modelling for 2K’s next WWE title.
He used to work in WWE as Kaval, but is currently back as Low Ki in Tna. His motion capture role is nothing to do with WWE,...

It has been quite a busy time for the rumor mill the past few months with all the speculation that Spike TV is not going to renew Tna Impact, leaving the fate of the show and the company up in the air. Dixie Carter says things are “Ongoing”, but that just means that there still isn’t a deal in place.
With the fate of American’s No. 2 promotion looking grim, this leaves a lot of established talent with very few options. A lot of them have a good chance of making it in Ring of Honor, some Tna stars would de well in Japan, but most of them will probably attempt to make a case to WWE management. Unfrotunately for many of them, the time for a chance at a WWE contract has come and gone.
Tna already employs a number of WWE veterans like Kurt Angle,...

We’re less than 3 weeks away from Tna’s biggest event of the year. And for those living under a rock, but still with enough internet access to read this article, Tna have made this years event even bigger than ever before by holding it in Tokyo. This is their first ever major Pay Per View to be held outside of North America (One Night Only doesn’t count) and the fact that they are working together with The Great Mutas Wrestle-1 promotion, means this is set to be Tna’s most intriguing event in years.
Now Tna has come under a lot of fire from fans and critics alike over the years. It’s no secret that there have been many, many stumbles over their 12 year journey but there’s really no need to get into what most of us are already too familiar with.
