Jon Bridgman(1930-2015)
Professor Bridgman taught at the University of Washington for fifty years specialising in modern European history. Born on July the 10th 1930 and died on March the 9th 2015. He received his doctorate from Stanford University in 1961. During 1973 he became one of the first recipients of the UW Distinguished Teaching Award. Retired in 1997 and held the title of Emeritus Professor. Author of two publications: "The Revolt of the Hereros" (1981) and "The End of the Holocaust: The Liberation of the Camps" (1990).
