As the cover promises Laura takes the lead role for the majority of the issue. And all I can say is it’s about damn time! I have been waiting for her to play a part since the first issue. With the way this story arc has been structured it is effective to have this little detour with Laura in the driving seat. Remember we left the last issue with a strong cliffhanger so to suddenly veer off in this direction shows the strength and the confidence of the writing duo. On the subject of our dynamic duo, after 7 issues I finally noticed that on the cover either Percy or Lavalle’s name is first. Indicating who is the lead, in the case of #47 its Lavalle. I still think it’s more fun to guess though!

This was a lot of fun and I am not concerned to admit that my enjoyment of this really caught me off guard. I get sucked into anything with ‘Weapon X’ in the title and sometimes in the past that has burned me. But wow this was so much fun! That is high praise indeed seeing as it doesn’t really involve any alternate Wolverines I hold a soft spot for. Okay Old Man Logan is tried and tested, but I feel he has been overused. Here he is presented perfectly as like a Lethal Weapon ‘I’m too old for this shit’ Wolverine. Then we have Weapon X from Age of Apocalypse. That four-issue mini-series is a massive blind spot for me, but I am certainly tracking it down after reading this. In this story...

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi first captured fans’ hearts as their favorite meatball on Jersey Shore. And while on the show, she brought home her favorite kind of guy — a juice head guido — one night after the bar. Although fans thought it was just a one-and-done, fast forward more than a decade, and Polizzi and her now-husband, Jionni Lavalle, are happily married with three kids.
Polizzi and Lavalle made a TV appearance on her spinoff show with Jenni Farley, Snooki & JWoww, but he has remained out of the spotlight for the last few years. Fans love any glimpse of Polizzi’s life with her man — and some want him to come back to TV.

AMC has renewed its supernatural anthology series The Terror for season 3 – and this time, we’re heading for a possibly haunted psychiatric hospital. Jolly.
The first two series of The Terror are spine-chilling, superbly creepy thrillers, and it’s with great pleasure that we’re able to report that the show’s returning with another hair-raising story.
Deadline reports that The Terror has been renewed for season three by AMC, with the new series will based on Victor Lavalle’s novel The Devil in Silver. Lavalle will also write the new series of The Terror with Chris Cantwell.
If the name Lavalle rings a bell, that would be for a good reason. His novel The Changeling was recently adapted into a compelling, thrilling AppleTV+ series of the same name, starring Lakeith Stanfield.
The Devil In Silver follows a man named Pepper, who finds himself committed to New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital.

'Historical horror' is not a term that's been especially popularized, but it's most effective when describing the delicious combination of historical events and fictional horror. This subgenre has been quietly enjoying a great run during the last decade or so: not only have there been several movies that brilliantly mix detail-heavy period settings with creepy goings-on but there have been a number of TV shows delving into historical horror with much success, such as Showtime's "Penny Dreadful."
Latest on the scene is AMC's "The Terror," a series that so far has been able to vary its period setting, themes, and even tone thanks to being anthologized season to season. After the first season, which was based on author Dan Simmons' novel "The Terror" (hence the series' name), the second season went on to tell an original tale set in and around the Japanese internment camps in America during WWII.

It’s been five years since the last installment of The Terror, but season 3 is finally on the way.
AMC has ordered The Terror: Devil in Silver, a six-part series based on the novel written by Victor Lavalle. The story follows Pepper, “a working-class moving man who, through a combination of bad luck and a bad temper, finds himself wrongfully committed to New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital – an institution filled with the people society would rather forget. There, he must contend with patients who work against him, doctors who harbor grim secrets and perhaps even the very devil himself. As Pepper navigates a hellscape where nothing is as it seems, he finds that the only path to freedom is to face down the entity that thrives on the suffering within New Hyde’s walls. But doing so might prove that the worst demons of all live inside him.“

Jersey Shore star Jionni Lavalle, husband of Nicole Polizzi, didn’t expect police to deliver an Uber Eats order to his home when he placed his order. However, that’s what happened when New Jersey cops arrested the delivery driver en route to the reality star’s home.
Jionni Lavalle placed a delivery order but was shocked when cops brought the food
In late January 2024, an Uber Eats driver was arrested in Florham Park, New Jersey. However, she left her food delivery order behind in the car she was driving, reported ABC7 New York news.
A random plate scan determined the driver had an outstanding warrant and was arrested. But what to do with the food left behind?
Officer Alex Tredy decided to complete the McDonald’s food delivery. Surprisingly, Tredy’s customer was Jionne Lavalle, Nicole Polizzi’s husband, who appeared on the first installation of MTV’s Jersey Shore.

Nicole Polizzi, affectionately known by her Jersey Shore cast mates as “Snooki,” has always been respectful of her husband’s desire to remain out of the spotlight. The reality star continues to appear on the popular MTV spinoff Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, but you’ll hardly ever see her husband, Jionni Lavalle, on the show. It’s rare that fans get a peek at Polizzi’s life with her husband, but fans have respected Lavalle’s wishes.
Polizzi hasn’t posted a photo on Instagram with her man since last year — until now. She recently took to social media to show off her adorable little “squad.”

A few weeks ago, we heard that the Apple TV+ series The Changeling – which is not a remake of the 1980 Peter Medak horror film of the same name (which you can watch at This Link), but rather an adaptation of author Victor Lavalle’s recent novel (and you can buy a copy of Lavalle’s novel Here) – is set to premiere on Friday, September 8th.
