Film and TV costume designer Heather Patton issued an apology on her Instagram page after she made a racist outburst that was recorded and went viral over social media, but a longtime costumer for Ryan Murphy is urging her fellow union members to take further action.
The video, which was recorded September 24, showed Patton at a Cvs Pharmacy in Los Angeles’ Eagle Rock neighborhood on September 24, in which she repeatedly uses the N-word and said she wants to kill them. According to the Los Angeles Times and Ktla-tv, the Lapd has begun a hate crime investigation.
As Patton’s outburst video circulated on social media, Patricia Arquette took notice of the clip and shared on her page that she had sent it to the wardrobe union and local news. The actress, who recently won an Emmy for Hulu’s “The Act,” also re-tweeted a post that condemned Patton.

London -- Fans of the Kinks are to get a big screen version of the band's seminal album "Schoolboys in Disgrace," backers said Wednesday.
Bobcat Goldthwait, who will direct the movie, has penned a script based on the album whose songs were written by Ray Davies. Davies will executive produce the project.
Howard Gertler and Tim Perell will produce the movie being set up to shoot entirely in the U.K.
The duo's credits include the Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson rom-com "Last Chance Harvey" and "World's Greatest Dad," starring Robin Williams.
"Schooboys" will be co-produced by Sarah de Sa Rego, who also collaborated on "World's Greatest Dad." The film's executive producer is Andrew D Tenenbaum.
Goldthwait said: "'Schoolboys in Disgrace' is a story that any kid who has felt that they are not being treated fairly can relate to, all set to some of the greatest rock songs you'll ever hear.

I've very much enjoyed Bobcat Goldthwait's career thus far as a director, much more so than as a comic actor. His latest film, World's Greatest Dad, premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival to critical accliam but was unable to find a big audience when it was released (likely due to the comedy's dark subject matter). What is Bobcat up to next? Goldthwait is developing a "asskicking western" screenplay titled Rio Malo. And no, this isn't another dark comedy, as its being billed to investors as more of an action/adventure story. Of course, that doesn't mean its not funny. The project is said to be about "crooked cops, unavenged murders, injustice, discrimination and drag." Goldthwait hopes to get the film in production later this year, and will be at Cannes to raise finacing. Howard Gertler and Sarah De Sa Rego are attached to produce. Not much else is known...
