The MTV Movie Awards nominations have been announced, and it's slim pickings for the gays, other than a nod to Magic Mike. No idea if Kill Your Darlings was eligible this year or next, but Daniel Radcliffe's campaign for Best Kiss didn't pan out.
My friend David Mixner has announced a candlelight vigil to be held in Times Square, behind the half price ticket booth on March 24th in support of marriage equality and the Supreme Court hearings on Prop 8 and Doma that week. I'd be there if I could, but if you're in NYC, please join David to show our solidarity. And give him a hug from me.
Some allegations of extreme police violence at Gay & Lesbian Mardis Gras have surfaced after video went viral of police slamming a man's head into the pavement over crossing the street at the wrong place. Investigations are underway, and the video is graphic.

Like many things that you can count on around the holidays, The Trevor Project's Trevor Live is a staple in Los Angeles. Sunday night, the West Coast event honored singer Katy Perry with the Hero Award and gave Audi the 2020 Award. With the event directed again by Adam Shankman and emceed by 'The Voice Of God' (a.k.a. Amy Poehler), the show was also DJ'd by Samantha Ronson and featured singing performances by Betty Buckley, Naya Rivera, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Andrew Rannells, Laura Benanti, Darren Criss, Barrett Foa, Kristin Chenoweth, Matthew Morrison and many, many more.
AfterElton was on the press line for the event and hailed down many of the celebrity performers and celebrities to talk about The Trevor Project.

Oliver Stone was so impressed with Trevor Donovan's audition for Savages that while he didn't cast him in the role he went out for, he wrote a new character that wasn't in the book just so Donovan could be in the movie.

Oxygen is giving breathing room to obsessions, drama and competition in its upcoming season. The network has added five new series to its slate, increasing its original programming by 50 percent.
"My Shopping Addiction" will chronicle the lives of shoppers who are obsessed with the thrill of hunting down the perfect dress, piece of jewelry and more. But the intensity heightens as their addictions threaten their finances and begin to take over their lives.
"I'm Having Their Baby" follows pregnant women facing the difficult decision of whether or not to place their unborn children up for adoption. The series will see its cast through the trials and tribulations of searching for adoptive parents, making birth and transfer plans and eventually making their decision.
On a less dramatic note, "All The Right Moves" will star Emmy-nominated choreographer Travis Wall (of "So You Think You Can Dance" fame) and his lifelong friends Teddy Forance,...

Travis Wall: Yeah, that's awesome!
Ae: I suppose I should start out by thanking you for the opportunity to go on the Atlantis cruise, because it was your video with Nick Lazzarini that prompted them to call me and invite me on the cruise as well.
Tw: Oh, that's awesome. Seriously, I need a break so bad, and I'm so excited to go on it and get away for a second because I've been so overworked and so crazy.
Ae: I've seen that. So how did you get connected with Atlantis before we get into your big announcement.

Teddy Forance, Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini (l-r) and Kyle Robinson will show us All The Right Moves.
I’ve always loved Travis Wall whether he’s dancing or choreographing on So You Think You Can Dance. What’s this about a new reality show and when will it be on? – Christian (via email)
The series, called All The Right Moves, will follow Wall and his lifelong friends Teddy Forance (dancer/choreographer with Cirque du Soleil), dancer Nick Lazzarini (who won the first Sytycd season) and Kyle Robinson (recently featured on Dancing With The Stars). At this point, it’s in the development stage for the Oxygen network, so time will tell if it gets ordered to series. I asked Wall, via email, how different it would be for him to have cameras following him in his own home and he replied, “It will be different for me for sure, and...
