Cameron Diaz said she knows who Taylor Swift’s biggest fan is.
The actress told Jimmy Fallon, during Wednesday’s appearance on The Tonight Show, that her friend and fellow actress Tiffany Haddish is the “biggest Swiftie ever.”
Diaz was initially explaining how she ended up at one of the Grammy-winning singer’s Eras Tour shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in August.
“Zoe Saldaña is, like, one of my besties, and she was like, we were talking the night before, and she was like, ‘Should we go see Taylor Swift?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I think we should, but how are we ever going to get tickets?'” the Charlie’s Angels actress explained. “Then, Elsa Collins calls Zoe the next morning and says, ‘Let’s go.'”

This Star Wars: Ahsoka review contains spoilers.
Ahsoka Episode 7
“Dreams and Madness,” Ahsoka season 1’s penultimate episode, looks great on paper but falls short in execution. We get to spend more time with Ezra and Sabine, we get to see Thrawn exert his tactical dominance from his war room on Peridea, there’s a frantic space chase inside a Purrgil graveyard, and we’re even treated to a lengthy cameo by C-3Po. So why does the episode fall a little flat?
It’s not that there’s one big issue that tanks the entire episode. Rather, it’s an accumulation of little creative decisions that don’t hit the mark. Take C-3Po saving Hera and Teva’s asses in the courtroom, for example. It’s fun to see him put Senator Xiono in his place and clear Hera’s name on Leia’s behalf, but as a courtroom scene,...

Disney released the latest episode of Ahsoka today, and it continues the guest appearance from Hayden Christensen, reprising his role as the infamous Anakin Skywalker, aka Darth Vader. In the previous episode, Baylan Skoll and Morgan Elsbeth left for Admiral Thrawn’s location with Ahsoka’s trainee Sabine with them, as Ahsoka fell off the cliff after a fight with Baylan. She’d found herself in the World Between Worlds and was greeted by her former master, Anakin.

How Does Hera Start Looking For Ahsoka?
The fifth episode witnesses Hera and her son Jacen descend from her ship, the Ghost, onto the raised island where the previous week’s fighting took place. As the mother-son duo looked around, Hera was alerted to someone’s presence but was quickly reassured to learn it was just Huyang mourning the apparent deaths of Ahsoka and her Padawan, Sabine. It's as quintessentially "Star Wars" as it gets. You're off on some grand adventure with some of the biggest heroes in the galaxy when Some Guy™ walks in, acts like he's been there all along, and is quickly integrated into the story on a recurring basis. The franchise's particular sense of world-building is sprawling and expansive enough to allow for minor characters to progressively take on roles of major significance over time. And should the live-action material not have enough time to fully flesh out their backstories, you can safely bet your kid's college fund that Wookieepedia has listed some random comic or now-defunct Expanded Universe tale that took the time to fill in all the details you could ever need.

Last week, Ahsoka Tano was a (literally) fallen Jedi. In this week’s episode — directed by Ahsoka creator and Star War: The Clone Wars/Star War Rebels executive producer Dave Filoni — the titular heroine finally got to complete her training with master Anakin Skywalker (guest star Hayden Christensen).
A tumble off that cliff on Seatos landed Ahsoka in the World Between Worlds, where the ex-Jedi Knight found herself reunited with Anakin. And while he looked the same as she last saw him, Anakin quipped that his onetime Padawan looked “old.”

As Ahsoka, Sabine and Huyang rushed to stop Imperial loyalist Morgan Elsbeth from retrieving Thrawn from deep space, this week’s episode of Ahsoka saw the welcome return of a fan-favorite character.
Picking up where we left off, Huyang worked to restore coms after the T-6 took on extensive damage during last week’s space battle, meaning our heroes were stuck in the red forest on Seatos with no connection to the outside world. In the meantime, Ahsoka and Sabine ventured to find the enemy’s ground base in the hopes of preventing Elsbeth from using the star map.

The latest episode of "The Mandalorian," which is titled "Chapter 21: The Pirate," makes it clear that it is growing increasingly difficult for any planet to remain independent during a great time of transition between the Galactic Empire and the New Republic. High Magistrate Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) is still in the midst of improving his little corner of the Outer Rim on Nevarro when the pirate named Gorian Shard (who's quickly becoming one of our favorite characters) lays siege to the planet surface in his incredibly intimidating and fully operational Corsair ship. Through back channels, Karga enlists the help of X-wing pilot Captain Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee) with hopes that the New Republic will protect a planet that's not an official member yet. That plan does not go well, leaving Din Djarin, Bo-Katan, and the other Mandalorians to...

This post contains spoilers for "The Mandalorian" season 3, episode 5.
The latest episode of "The Mandalorian" ended with a pair of movie nods that are sure to resonate in the minds of any cinephile. The first arrived in the form of a "Jaws" reference, with Captain Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee) coming across a downed Lambda shuttle much like Hooper and Brody stumble upon Ben Gardner's damaged boat in Steven Spielberg's classic horror movie.
But Carson Teva needs more information than just a visual of the shuttle. He has to go in deeper. To that end, he has his droid enter and then scan the interior of the ship. Popping off one of its panels, Teva's droid goes in and starts beaming out a thin blue light, looking over the insides of the ship.
Eagle-eyed movie fans will see this for exactly what it is: a nod to...

Jon Favreau gets a lot of credit as the chief voice behind "The Mandalorian." In fairness, he created the show and has written the bulk of the episodes up to this point, so he's probably earned that. But Dave Filoni, the man behind "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," has also been behind him every step of the way, and his influence has been felt on a deep level. From getting Ahsoka Tano in live-action for the first time in season 2 to making Bo-Katan a central character, this show has Filioni's fingerprints all over it. Now, thanks to the series' most recent episode, titled "The Pirate," we're wading even further into Filoni territory with a huge "Star Wars Rebels" cameo.

Disney+ brought us the newest episode of “The Mandalorian” today, and multiple storylines were connected in this week’s episode. The episode drew from almost all the previous episodes of this season as the independent planet of Nevarro came under fire from the Pirate King Gorian Shard, whose men Greef Karga and Mando had killed in Episode 1. As Mando and the rest of his tribe are tasked with saving a friend in need, Grogu takes a backseat this week as his adoptive dad goes to work. The ending raises quite a few questions, including the burning issue of what became of Moff Gideon. Here’s what happened in this week’s episode:
Spoilers Ahead
Nevarro Under Attack
High magistrate Greef Karga’s planet Nevarro is by now a booming trade capital that only keeps growing in size, and as Karga is discussing future prospects to improve the conditions, there’s...

The Mandalorian this week was all about pesky pirates, in an action-packed episode that led to the reveal that someone sporting Beskar has apparently done a very, very bad thing.
Coming out of a “Previously On” that very much tipped its hand, Season 3, Episode 5 — titled “The Pirate” — found Gorian Shard’s cruiser hovering above Nevarro, before unleashing holy hell on the built-up town below. High Magistrate Greef Karga scrambled to get a message to Carson Teva at the New Republic’s Adelphi base, before leading his people to relative safety at the lava flats on the outskirts of town. Series creator Jon Favreau certainly knows that the Din Djarin and Grogu duo is a huge reason why viewers continue to tune in to "The Mandalorian" on a weekly basis -- but the show isn't solely about their (mis)adventures. Throughout the course of a little over two and a half seasons, the pair have come across several fan-favorite characters who could easily shoulder the weight of their own entire spin-off shows. Some of these guest stars, such as Temuera Morrison's Boba Fett and assassin Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), have already gone on to headline "The Book of Boba Fett." Others, such as Timothy Olyphant's Cobb Vanth or Katee Sackhoff's Bo-Katan Kryze, have stolen the spotlight during their many appearances yet remain supporting players. With the latest episode, however, we may have just received our biggest hint...

This Star Wars: The Mandalorian article contains spoilers.
The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 5: Chapter 21
Sometimes, you just want to see a good ol’ Star War. Episode 5 of The Mandalorian’s third season is meat-and-potatoes Star Wars goodness served up on a shiny platter, and man, that original recipe still hits. The skirmish for Nevarro delivers everything you’d want from a classic, good versus evil Star Wars battle, and the season’s larger story develops in tantalizing ways in the background, making this one of the best, most robust episodes of the series yet.
The fight over control of Nevarro between Gorian Shard and his pirates and Greef Karga and his people is simple to understand and pretty effective here, thanks to a rock-solid performance by Carl Weathers and some cursory backstory that makes the issue between the former associates feel at least a little personal. It would have been...

This Post Contains spoilers for this week’s episode of The Mandalorian, “The Pirate.”
The Mandalorian is a show that likes to keep things simple whenever possible. And it’s hard to imagine a more fundamentally simple story than “heroes rescue community under siege by pirates.” It’s a framework the show has used very successfully in the past, going all the way back to Mando and Cara Dune’s initial team-up early in Season One. In many ways, “The Pirate” leans hard into this kind of straightforward, classical adventure structure.

Spoilers for "Star Wars: The Mandalorian" follow.
The hyper-chickens come home to roost in the latest episode of "The Mandalorian." The twenty-first chapter is called "The Pirate" and brings Gorian Shard back to the forefront of trouble for the people of Nevarro. The episode begins with Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) doing some serious city planning with city engineers, pleasing NUMTOTs the world over by including rail in his plans to make the city better and move cargo around. But that's when Gorian Shard returns to Nevarro to threaten Greef and the planet. Greef tries to bluff him, insisting the New Republic might help, but Gorian Shard knows better. For the insolence shown to his men the last time they visited the planet, Gorian Shard opens fire, laying waste to the city Greef Karga has worked to make safe and respectable. As he's evacuating the citizens to safety, Greef Karga dispatches...

The plot thickens in the latest episode of "The Mandalorian," where we witness Din Djarin's (Pedro Pascal) Mando covertly aiding Nevarro against a pirate attack and a massive setup for Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff) to finally retake Mandalore. A lot went down in the final 20 minutes of "The Pirate," including an especially charged scene between Bo and The Armorer (Emily Swallow), where the latter asks her to remove her helmet as she "walks both worlds," making her an exception to the strict no helmet rule that The Children of the Watch are so religiously devoted to.
Additionally, the episode ends with a rather shocking twist: Captain Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee) discovers that Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) never made it to trial as he was extracted from the ship that was supposed to carry out the transfer. On scanning...
