He served the United States Military during World War II as the Air Corps Captain in the Southwest Pacific.
He co-founded the Dartmouth College Radio Station.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Krolik Stewart and her husband, Jason Stuart of New York City; a son, Jeffrey Krolik and his wife, Christine Krolik of Hillsborough, California; and three grandsons.
