A mystery for nearly four decades, Rod Serling's final screenplay, The Stop Along the Way is finally going to be revealed. The Hollywood Reporter brings word that J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot has secured the rights to the work and that they'll develop the tale for the small screen as a television miniseries. Despite a mention in Serling's final interview, four months before his death (which you can read in its entirety by clicking here ), details are virtually nil as to the story's plot. Serling does, however, tell the interviewer that he's quite fond of it, listing it among his favorite works.
