Renee Olstead is best known for playing nice Catholic girl Madison Cooperstein on the ABC Family drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager, but she’ll soon be taking on a very different kind of role for a new indie horror project. Olstead recently signed on to play Kaitlin in The Midnight Game, a movie about the dangers of mixing teenagers and witchcraft. Anyone who watched The Craft half as much as I did in high school knows what I’m talking about. [Variety]

A teen party goes viral and out of control when a balcony collapses, leaving one dead, Libby (Valentina de Angelis). Flack (Eddie Cahill) calls it "most parents' worst nightmare: someone spills their drink on a new carpet." Continuing, "Welcome to the end of the world as we know it." Wow Flack actually got the end line before the opening credits. Sid (Robert Joy) actually gets out of the autopsy lab to personally attend the Db at the scene. She was asphyxiated. Jo (Sela ward) estimates there were than fifty on the balcony, plus the marble table. Danny (Carmine Giovinazzo) collects prints from the table. Hawkes calculates without the use of a calculator, but Lindsay insists on using a calculator anyway, as if he'd be wrong. The balcony...

"You really need to be on your game and on your toes all the time. If that means having to get somewhere emotionally in five minutes, you got to do it!" Valentina De Angelis exclaims about her contract role on the soap opera "As The World Turns." "I have to say that a soap opera is the best acting boot camp there is." She may be best known for her role on "Gossip Girl," as one of Blair Waldorf's many minions, but it's the lessons she takes away from Atwt that sticks with her. Valentina grew up in New York City and started modeling at the ripe age of six. She transitioned into acting on a fluke. "It was absolutely by accident, but I came to find that I loved acting and the more passionate about it I became the more I realized that's what I not want to do.

Title: Bereavement Directed By: Stevan Mena Starring: Alexandra Daddario, Spencer List, Brett Rickaby, Michael Biehn, Peyton List, Nolan Gerard Funk, Valentina de Angelis, Kathryn Meisle Bereavement may be a prequel to the 2004 film Malevolence and share some concepts and characters, but otherwise, it’s an entirely different film.
